    摘要: A screw connection device for fluid lines, in particular for motor vehicle fluid lines, having a coupling nut with an interior space and having an internal threading running over the circumference of the interior space, as well as having a connecting element with an external threading. A line end of a fluid line is accommodated in the coupling nut, wherein the line end exhibits an end shape. When the internal threading of the coupling nut is screwed to the external threading of the connecting element, a locating surface disposed in the interior space of the coupling nut is moved toward the back end of the end shape, or vice versa, respectively. A spring element is disposed between the locating surface and the back end of the end shape, running over the circumference of the fluid line.

    摘要: A system for aligning and connecting a threaded male fastener for securing an oil line to a correspondingly threaded female fastener at the inlet of an oil cooler in a radiator tank has a guide sleeve having a cylindrical internal surface and a central axis adapted to be aligned with a central axis of the female fastener, and a guide member having a cylindrical external surface and a central axis adapted to be aligned with a central axis of the other of the male fastener. The guide member cylindrical external surface is slidingly and rotatably movable with respect to the guide sleeve cylindrical internal surface. The guide member is adapted to be slid into the guide sleeve, such that the threaded male and female fasteners may be coaxially aligned and contacted, and the guide member may be rotated with respect to the guide sleeve so that threads of the male fastener engage threads of the female fastener.

    摘要: A pipe joint 1 comprises a first joint member 2 of synthetic resin having an annular recessed portion 7 in an end face thereof, and a second joint member 3 of synthetic resin having an annular ridge 8 on an end face thereof. The ridge 8 is fitted in the opening of the recessed portion 7, with a synthetic resin gasket 4 fitted in the recessed portion 7. When the pipe joint 1 is properly tightened up, the outer surface of the ridge 8 of the second joint member 3 is pressed against the inner surface of the recessed portion 7 of the first joint member 2 with the gasket 4 interposed therebetween in intimate contact the surfaces approximately over the entire areas thereof, a portion 2d of the end face of the first joint member 2 positioned radially inwardly of the recessed portion is then in intimate contact with a portion 3d of the end face of the second joint member 3 positioned radially inwardly of the ridge approximately over the entire surface areas thereof, a portion 2e of the end face of the first joint member 2 positioned radially outwardly of the recessed portion is then in intimate contact with a portion 3e of the end face of the second joint member 3 positioned radially outwardly of the ridge approximately over the entire surface areas thereof.

An under-head portion of the connecting head is formed with a thick wall portion that satisfies conditions of: a radius of curvature R1 of a portion A of the thick wall portion continuing to the connecting head is 0.03 to 0.15 times the outer diameter of the pipe; a radius of curvature R2 of a portion B continuing from the portion A of the thick wall portion to a straight pipe portion is 0.3 to 1.5 times the outer diameter of the pipe; and a maximum diametrical size w of the thick wall portion is 0.25 to 0.4 times a maximum diametrical projecting length W of the connecting head.

    摘要: A method for sealingly coupling a first component and a second component. The method includes forming a polymer male portion attached to the first component. The male portion has a first axis and a first bore extending therethrough. The male portion has a first stop surface, a second stop surface and an annular sealing portion intermediate the first stop surface and the second stop surface. The method also includes forming a polymer female portion attached to the second component. The female portion has a second axis and a second bore extending therethrough. The female portion has a third stop surface, a fourth stop surface and an annular ring intermediate the third stop surface and the fourth stop surface. The male portion is urged towards the female portion so that at least one of the first stop surface is adjacent the third stop surface or the second stop surface is adjacent the fourth stop surface. The annular ring is subjected to a compressive force in an oblique direction with respect to at least one of the first axis and the second axis by contact with the annular sealing portion.
