Abstract:
Disclosed are an attractive electromagnetic flanging method using a stepped magnetic field shaper for a small metal pipe fitting, and a device. The problems that an existing electromagnetic flanging method uses a dual-coil and dual-power system, is complicated in control and coordination, and cumbersome in assembly configuration, and a forming effect of using a single coil system is poor are solved. The superior performance of a magnetic field in a specific area can be strengthened during flanging forming through the special stepped magnetic field shaper, such that an effect of replacing provision of an axial background magnetic field coil is achieved. The method solves the problem of insufficient radial electromagnetic force in the single coil system, and simplifies the problems of complicated control and coordination and cumbersome assembly configuration of the dual-coil system. Compared with the drive coil, the stepped magnetic field shaper is easy to manufacture and low in cost, thereby shortening the manufacturing period and facilitating actual batch production.

An apparatus and method configured for manufacturing an aircraft part from formable material. The apparatus may include one or more rigid forming components onto which the formable material is placed and between which non-flange portions of the formable material may be compressed, and at least one inflatable component that, when expanded by inflation, presses flange portions of the formable material against at least one of the rigid forming components. The inflation component(s) may be arranged in any configuration for forming the formable material into C-shaped channels, single L-shaped channels, or opposing Z-shaped channels. Once pressed between the rigid forming components and/or the inflated inflatable components, the formable material may be heated for forming according to the particular formable material used.

A swivel jig tool for forming a burring hole in a door inner panel includes: a jig base; a jig slide moving forward or rearward along an upper surface of the jig base; and a jig driver disposed behind the jig slide and moving downward by its own weight and applying a force to the jig slide to move the jig slide forward. The jig base comprises: an L-shaped fixed jig base movably supporting the jig slide that is in contact with an upper surface of the L-shaped fixed jig base; a connector protruding upward from the L-shaped fixed jig base at a position opposite to a vertical part of the L-shaped fixed jig base, the connector fixing a hinge shaft thereon; and a rotating jig base mounted to the connector by the hinge shaft to rotate around the hinge shaft that is disposed in a horizontal direction.

A bulkhead, which is a press-formed product, includes a top plate part, side flange parts and corner flange parts. The side flange parts each extend from respective sides of the top plate part. The corner flange parts each extend from respective corner parts of the top plate part. The corner flange part connects the side flange parts to each other. In the corner flange part, a part having a minimum value of plate thickness is present in a central portion in a circumferential direction, and parts having a maximum value of the plate thickness are present on both sides thereof. A ratio of the maximum value and the minimum value is in a range of more than 1.0 to 1.6 or less.
