    摘要: A frozen forming method for a large-size thin-walled aluminum alloy component using an aluminum alloy tailor-welded plate is described. An aluminum alloy tailor-welded plate is cooled to a temperature with a cryogenic fluid medium, and temperature of a weld zone is regulated to be lower than that of a base metal zone; and the component is fabricated by a tool integrally with aluminum alloy tailor-welded plate, by placing aluminum alloy tailor-welded plate onto tool; assembling tool and filling with cryogenic fluid medium so temperature of tool is −150 to −196 degrees Celsius; and apply pressure to deform the aluminum alloy tailor-welded plate when temperature of a weld zone reaches −150 degrees Celsius to −196 degrees Celsius, thereby facilitating forming the aluminum alloy tailor-welded plate to a designed shape of the aluminum alloy component; and disassembling the tool, and taking out the aluminum alloy component.

    摘要: According to the die cushion apparatus of a press machine and the die cushion controlling method of the present invention, in holding the cushion pad on standby at a desired standby position, it is possible to hold the cushion pad on standby in parallel with the lower faces of the dies mounted to the slide, and if the lower faces of the dies are inclined, it is possible to hold the cushion pad on standby in the state of being inclined. Through this configuration, it is possible to easily allow the material to come into contact with the lower faces of the dies from the beginning of the die cushion force control (beginning of the collision), and also possible to smoothen the die cushion action in the plane, thereby enhancing the formability.

    摘要: A domer station having a domer assembly, a housing assembly, and a stacked piston assembly is provided. The domer assembly is movably disposed within a domer body passage located in the housing assembly and structured to move between a forward, first position and a retracted, second position. The stacked piston assembly includes a plurality of pistons, preferably three pistons, disposed in series and a pressure supply. The pistons are disposed behind the domer in pressure chambers. The pistons have a constant pressure applied thereto and are biased towards the domer. The pistons are, however, each restrained by a stop and do not contact, or operatively engage, the domer when the domer is in the domer first position.
