摘要： A slide cover structure for a shift lever device for covering an operation groove from the interior of a housing regardless of zigzag shifting operation of the shift lever, in which shifting operation is made by moving the shift lever in a first direction and a second direction, comprising: a first cover plate which is formed by a flexible member elongated in a first direction and opposes to the operation groove and is formed in the housing; and a second cover plate which is provided the opposite side of the operation groove with respect to the first cover plate and which is elongated in the second direction, in which widthwise edge portions of the second cover plate are supported by second supporting portions formed on the first cover plate; wherein a plurality of projections are provided so as to form protrusions and recesses in lines at the widthwise edge portions of the first cover plate at the surface of the first cover plate opposite the surface at which the operation groove is disposed to allow the distal ends of the plurality of projections to contact the first supporting portions provided in the housing so that gaps between the first supporting portions and the first cover plate are maintained to allow the second cover plate to move in the second direction.

According to the invention, a switch lever has a one-piece construction with at least a pair of cams for actuation of sensitive switches (microswitches) and forms a pivot body from which the lever arm of the switch lever is mounted and also is provided with a guide for receiving an indexing means, for example, a ball detent for releasably positioning the lever in one of the selected positions thereof.

摘要： A gear shift lever for a tilt cab vehicle that moves with the cab when it is tilted for access to other mechanical parts of the vehicle, for instance, the engine. The lever apparatus is resiliently engaged with the cab in a manner which substantially isolates the lever from cab vibrations. More particularly, the lever includes a lower end that is specially-mounted and releasably engaged with a complementary portion of a gear transfer mechanism, and an upper end available for shifting by an operator. The gear shift lever is preloaded to maintain the proper operative relationship between the shift lever and the complementary portion of the transfer mechanism when the cab is in an untilted or closed disposition. A protective cover is integrated with the lever apparatus to seal substantially the cab interior from the engine compartment and thereby prevent air and exhaust fumes from leaking into the cab.

摘要： A control lever adjustably mounted on a transmission extends through an opening formed in the floor of a vehicle and through a floor-mounted insulator closing the opening. The insulator is preferably a molded block of resilient material that lowers the intensity of any sound waves passing therethrough to the interior of the vehicle while yielding to allow all necessary control movements of the lever. The insulator yieldably grips a portion of the lever above its mounting so that vibrations imparted to the lever are damped by the flexing of the material of the insulator. Preferably the lever has parts separated by vibration damping members to further reduce lever vibration.
