    摘要: A segmented cage for a ball bearing is provided, having multiple independent spacers, distributed at intervals between rolling elements of equal number to the spacers. A pocket slot is formed on each of two sides of each spacer in a position of contact with the rolling element, a concave curved surface adapted to hold the rolling element is formed in the pocket slot, and opposing pocket slots of adjacent spacers are matched to form a cage pocket for enveloping the rolling element. At least one main oil hole is formed in each spacer, running through the interior of the spacer and opening at the pocket slots on the two sides. The rolling element is held by the concave curved surface such that the rolling element is unable to contact with an opening edge, in the pocket slot, of the at least one pair of main oil holes.

    摘要: An axial air movement fan having a plurality of variable pitch fan blades (2), extending radially from a hub (4) rotatable about a main axis (3), each blade (2) further being pivotable about its radial axis to vary the blade pitch. The blades (2) each are mounted on an associated bearing (5) mounted on said hub, the bearing comprising a ball bearing having a first radially inner race (25) fast the blade (2) and a second radially outer race (26) rotationally fast to the hub (4). The balls (14) in the bearing are separated by separators (15), each separator being generally cylindrical and having its cylindrical axis coaxial with the orbital axis (22) of the orbit of the balls (14) and being adapted to rotate about the said orbital axis (22), the side faces of the separator each having a part spherical recess (16) adapted to receive a ball (14). Rotation of the separator (15) about the orbital axis (22) is such as to entrain lubricant in the bearing and to bias the lubricant from adjacent the outer race (26) over the balls (14) towards the inner race (25).

    摘要: A spacer assembly for a bearing of a wind turbine and/or a bearing assembly for a wind turbine is provided. The bearing assembly includes an outer race, an inner race rotatable relative to the outer race, a plurality of roller elements positioned between the inner and outer race, and a plurality of load-bearing spacers configured between the roller elements. Each of the spacers includes a spacer portion and an extension portion. Thus, each of the spacers is arranged to contact adjacent spacers within the bearing assembly via the extension portion such that the extension portions of the spacers are configured to transfer loads experienced by the bearing assembly rather than the loads passing through the roller elements.

    摘要: A spacer device for roller elements of a toroidal roller bearing includes an inner ring and an outer ring. The toroidal roller bearing allows for axial and angular displacement between the inner and outer rings. The spacer device comprises a first roller element-contacting surface and a second roller element-contacting surface on opposite sides thereof. First and second roller-contacting surfaces are arranged to separate two adjacent roller elements in a tangential direction of the toroidal roller bearing when the spacer device is in use. Each of the first and second roller element-contacting surfaces has a concave shape adapted to conform to respective convex contacting surfaces of the roller elements. The spacer device comprises end members that have projections that extend outwards from first and second roller-contacting surfaces and which are arranged to extend at least partly over the ends of two adjacent roller elements when the spacer device is in use.

    摘要: More than two roller rows are arranged on only a closed or looped circuit. A separator is arranged on one roller row out of phase relative to a separator on the other roller row, thereby making less any variation in posture of the slider, which would otherwise occur when the rollers transfer from or into the load-carrying race, and vice versa, eventually improving any travelling accuracy of the slider. The separator interposed between the adjoining rollers lying in the adjoining roller rows is composed of an isolation wall coming into sliding contact with the end surfaces of the rollers lying side by side in the roller rows juxtaposed with each other, a pair of first separator wing extending sidewise from one side of the isolation wall to embrace the circular rolling surface of the roller in one roller row from both sides thereof, and a second separator wing extending from another side of the isolation wall on the opposite side of the first separator wing to lie between circular rolling surfaces of two adjacent rollers in another roller row.
