In one aspect, a system is described that can be comprised of a wind turbine comprising a rotor, wherein one or more rotor blades of the wind turbine are affixed to the rotor; and one or more sensors located on or within the rotor, wherein the one or more sensors measure deflection of the rotor. In one aspect, the measured deflection is correlated with thrust on the wind turbine and the measured thrust can be used to determine at least in part a pitch angle for at least one of the one or more rotor blades during peak shaving.

    摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method for controlling at least one proximity sensor of a wind turbine, the wind turbine comprising a rotor shaft, the at least one proximity sensor being adapted to measure a radial displacement of the rotor shaft; the method includes: providing at least one reference value, detecting an output of the at least one proximity sensor, the output depending on a measured distance by the respective proximity sensor; comparing the detected output of the proximity sensor with at least one reference value. Further, the present relates to a control arrangement for a wind turbine, the wind turbine comprising a wind rotor shaft; wherein the control arrangement comprises at least one proximity sensor being adapted to measure a radial displacement of the rotor shaft, wherein the at least one proximity sensor is adapted to generate an output signal depending on a measured distance by the respective proximity sensor; wherein the control arrangement further comprises a control device, the control device being adapted to receive the output signal of the at least one proximity sensor, wherein the control device is adapted to compare the output signal with at least one reference value.     摘要: A vibration-resistant wind turbine and process for operation is provided. The wind turbine has a rotor with at least two blades, each of which includes an inclinometer arrangement with at least two axes, and an evaluating unit. The evaluating unit determines the bending and/or twisting of the blade relative to the longitudinal axis of the blade on the basis of signals from the inclinometer arrangement for each blade during operation. Each rotor blade further has at least one liquid tank which is capable of receiving or transferring liquid from or to a liquid reservoir via a transfer mechanism in response to the determined bending and/or twisting of the rotor blades to reduce vibration caused by imbalances, thereby extending the service life of the wind turbine.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method and a system for operating a Wind Turbine (WTG), which WTG comprises a rotor comprising at least two blades, which blades are pitch regulated, where the rotor is connected to a shaft, which shaft is supported by bearings, and which shaft drives at least one generator, where the WTG uses a load regulation system for regulating the individual pitch of at least two blades. The object of the invention is to compensate for asymmetric load on the rotor in a wind turbine, a second object is to reduce wearing at shaft bearings in the wind turbine, and a third object is to increase the power production of a wind turbine. This can be achieved if the load regulation system measures the actual rotor load by at least one displacement sensor, which displacement sensor is measuring the bending of the main shaft, where the load regulation system based on the shaft bending regulates the individual pitch of the blades for compensating asymmetric load at the rotor.

    摘要: A system for monitoring the deflection of a wind turbine blade is described. The system comprises a wireless range-measurement system, having at least one wireless communication device located towards the root end of the blade and at least one wireless communication device located towards the tip end of the blade. The root end device is provided on a bracket projecting from the external surface of the blade, to provide a communication path between the root end and tip end devices which is less susceptible to interference from multipath effects, etc. There is further provided a method to derive tilt and yaw moments from measured deflections. A control method for such a system is also described, wherein the signal gain of the communication path may be varied based at least in part upon the deflection characteristics of the wind turbine blade.
