    摘要: A fan is configured to generate an air flow by rotating together with a rotation shaft. The fan includes multiple blades arranged radially about a central axis of the rotation shaft and a boss portion that connects the blades to the rotation shaft. The boss portion has an end face portion located on one end side of the rotation shaft. The end face portion has an annular region concentric with the central axis of the rotation shaft. One part of the annular region in a circumferential direction has an optical refractive index different from an optical refractive index of another part of the annular region in the circumferential direction.

    摘要: An integrated wind turbine acoustic-noise and shadow-flicker recognition system, comprising monitors located at nearby locations and base-units installed in each wind turbine, is described. The system comprehensively addresses neighbors' concerns with potential sound- and flicker-based nuisance emissions. Each monitor includes a computer processor; a microphone and light-monitor; a two-way communication system for interaction with the base-unit; and a set of indicator-lights. Each base-unit includes a computer processor; a two-way communication system for interacting with local monitors; plus a display, data-ports, and programming interfaces. Collectively, computer processors in the monitors and base-units jointly assess acoustic, optical, and turbine operating data to signal a mitigation event. The methods used to determine a mitigation event are based on a unique signature-recognition methodology that relies on analysis of data received at both the turbine and at the monitored location.

    摘要: A sensor device for measuring aerodynamic loads of a rotor blade for a wind power installation . The sensor device includes a reflector arranged in a cavity of the rotor blade which signals a signal evaluation device arranged at a distance from the reflector. The signal evaluation device detects and quantifies physical changes of the rotor blade from the reflected signal. A cleaning device for the reflector is arranged on the reflector for activation by a centrifugal force generated during the rotation of the rotor to clean the reflector.

This real time analysis of blade modal response can be used as feedback in a control system to change the yaw angle of the hub and nacelle to capture higher power from the wind stream, change the pitch on one or more blades to reduce uneven blade loading, to identify damage to a blade, and further to identify the accumulation of ice on a blade.

    摘要: Methods and apparatus for measuring a parameter (e.g., temperature, pressure, strain, or vibration) of at least a portion of a wind turbine generator using distributed sensing with optical fiber technology are provided. Fiber optic technology with distributed sensing offers a fast, low cost solution for measuring the parameter at myriad locations along substantial lengths of optical fiber. In this manner, the health or status of one or more components of the wind turbine generator may be monitored during or after the different stages of fabrication, transportation, site assembly, operation, and repair over time. Furthermore, data from multiple wind turbine generators may be sent to a local control station for processing and monitoring an entire wind farm in real time. Data from multiple wind farms may be transmitted from multiple local control stations to a remote station such that multiple wind farms may be monitored from a single location.
