    摘要: The invention is related to a hydraulic device comprising a housing including pipe ports, a rotor (14) having rotor chambers (9) which are formed by a cylinder (11) and a piston (12) which rotate about a first axis of rotation (m1) and a second axis of rotation (m2). Both axes of rotation extend within a common plane and intersect each other. A face plate (4) including a face plate centre line which coincides with the second axis of rotation (ml) has two or more face plate ports (3) which are each communicating with a pipe port for communicating the pipe port with the rotor chambers (9). An adjustment device adjusts the mutual positions of the face plate (4) and the common plane. Corresponding to the invention a face plate bearing (30, 32) between the face plate (4) and the housing has at least two axes of rotation which intersect the face plate centre line preferably perpendicularly and upon rotating the face plate (4) the common plane rotates with respect to the housing.

    摘要: A variable displacement hydraulic/pump motor has a yoke with a pair of shafts aligned to define a yoke pivot axis and connected to a valve plate therebetween having intake and discharge apertures. A rotatable cylinder barrel has piston cylinders open at one end to receive a piston head and opening through fluid ports at another end, flush against the valve plate surface. A drive block is mounted on an input/output shaft for rotation about a central axis of rotation inclined at an angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the cylinder barrel which may be changed by a drive engaging the yoke at a point near its pivot axis. Loads on bushings supporting the yoke shafts are reduced by providing radially extending fluid ports in the shafts and in communication with the intake and discharge apertures of the valve plate.

The module includes a hydraulic motor configured to provide motive power at an output shaft, and a differential for distributing the motive power to right and left portions of the axle. The hydraulic motor and the differential are encased within a common housing. The vehicle may include a second integrated drive module having, within a housing, a second hydraulic motor (or multiple hydraulic motors), and a second differential coupled thereto and configured to distribute motive power to right and left portions of a second axle. The second module may also include a transmission within the same housing. The transmission may be a two speed or other multi-speed transmission. The second module is configured to operate in neutral while power demand is below a threshold, and to engage while the power demand exceeds the threshold. The second module may be configured to remain engaged for full-time four-wheel-drive operation.

    摘要: A hydrostatic pad or slipper bearing that is hydrostatically balanced to provide a substantially frictionless bearing with negligible fluid leakage, for supporting a moving part, in which there is a stationary housing in a cylindrical recess in which is mounted a bearing pad movable in the recess and surrounded by a liquid seal, the outward face of the pad being shaped to bear on the moving part to be supported and having a recessed area in its outward face which is defined by sealing land. A passage through the pad provides a communication between the inward face of the pad and the recessed area. Within the housing is a cylindrical cavity containing a valve assembly which is connected in a manner that is free of back lash to the pad so that the valve moves with the pad. The cylindrical cavity is supplied with liquid under pressure the entry of which is controlled by the valve and also with a passage leading to an area of lower of pressure. The novel feature of the construction lies in the fact that the cylindrical recess and the pad are of substantially uniform diameter through the lengths so that the pad is supported against lateral movement by the wall of the recess at a point close to the moving part and in that the effective hydrostatic area of the inward face of the pad is substantially equal to the effective hydrostatic area of the outward face of the pad plus the effective hydrostatic area of the valve subject to the pressure acting on the inward face of the pad, the valve assembly being hydrostatically balanced within itself with respect to the input pressure so that the whole pad and valve assembly are hydrostatically balanced. This arrangement guards against the leading edge of the pad digging into the moving part and also permits the use of a large diameter poppet valve.
