摘要: A system and method for dynamically deactivating engine cylinders of an engine equipped with a cylinder deactivation system, where the system and method control torsional vibration in the engine while deactivating cylinders using a computer programed with a desired firing density and a controlled range of engine vibration frequencies. The computer dynamically determines a cylinder firing pattern that provides the desired firing density while optimizing a cost function norm in the controlled range of engine vibration frequencies. The cylinder deactivation system in the engine is then controlled using the determined cylinder firing pattern.

摘要: An energization control unit is configured to perform a constant current control by repeatedly switching between an on-state and an off-state of at least one upstream switch provided in an energization path of a coil of a fuel injection valve to control opening of the fuel injection valve in a drive period in which the coil is energized to drive the fuel injection valve. A current detection unit is configured to detect a coil current flowing through the coil. A valve-opening detection unit is configured to detect valve-opening timing of the fuel injection valve based on a change in at least one frequency spectrum of the coil current in a constant current control period in which the constant current control is performed. A valve-opening correction unit is configured to correct valve opening of the fuel injection valve based on a detection result of the valve-opening detection unit.

comparing a signal portion of an acquired signal profile section (442) with the corresponding signal portion of the corresponding modelled signal profile section (432) in order to detect the power-changing manipulation of the internal combustion engine (100).-

摘要: A two-stage air boosting system for an internal combustion engine has a first air boosting system which is one of an electrical air boosting system or a turbocharger air boosting system. The two-stage air boosting system also includes a second air boosting system which is the other one of the electrical air boosting system or the turbocharger air boosting system and is positioned intermediate the first air boosting system and an air intake manifold of the internal combustion engine. A plurality of sensors provides information relating to operation of the two-stage air boosting system including inlet conditions of a compressor of the second air boosting system. A control module is configured to receive a plurality of inputs including the information relating to operation of the two-stage air boosting system, and is further configured to provide a system control command for the two-stage air boosting system responsive to the inputs.

The present system and approach may determine set point trajectories for powertrain conditions on-line and in real time, whereas set point trajectories have previously been determined off-line for powertrain control.

摘要: Techniques for driving a plurality of inductive actuators are described herein. According to these techniques, a driver unit includes a clock terminal that receives an external clock signal used by an external control unit. The driver unit further includes a serial bus interface configured to communicate with the external control unit via a serial bus. The serial bus is configured to communicate both of trigger commands synchronized to the external clock signal that indicate to at least one of a plurality of programmable control circuits (PCUs) to generate drive signals in response to the trigger commands that are synchronized with the external clock signal and data associated with at least one of the plurality of PCUs and synchronized with the external clock signal, wherein the data is used by the at least one of the plurality of PCUs to generate the drive signals in response to the trigger commands.
