For example, a grease composition may include: an oil basestock having: a kinematic viscosity (ASTM D445, 40° C.) of from 320 cSt to 520 cSt, a kinematic viscosity (ASTM D445, 100° C.) of from 22 cSt to 36 cSt, a viscosity index (ASTM D2270) of from 80 to 119, a pour point (ASTM D97) of −6° C. or less, and a saturate content (ASTM D7419) of 90 wt % or greater; and from 0.5 wt % to 15 wt % of a thickener, by total weight of the grease composition.

摘要: A polyester is useful as a high viscosity base fluid. A method for its preparation involves epoxidizing an alpha-olefin, reacting the alpha-epoxide or diol with a saturated linear aliphatic dicarboxylic acid, and isolating the polyester. Lubricant compositions can contain such polyesters and the compositions are useful as automatic transmission fluids, manual transmission fluids, continuously variable transmission fluids, gear oil formulations, industrial gear oil formulations, axle fluid formulations, dual clutch transmission fluids, dedicated hybrid transmission fluids, or as hydraulic oils.

摘要: A solid lubricating coating film capable of imparting favorable lubricity and corrosion resistance to a connection for oil country tubular goods. Two or more solid lubricants are dispersed in a binder resin. Graphite is contained in an amount of 50% or more and 90% or less of a total weight of the solid lubricants, and the graphite has a scaly shape and an average particle diameter of 10.0 μm or less. A solid lubricant made of one or more materials selected from BN, mica, talc, MCA, MoS2, PTFE, PFA, and FEP is further contained as other solid lubricants of the two or more types of solid lubricants. The binder resin contains a PEEK resin having an average particle diameter of 20 μm or less as a main component, and the PEEK resin is contained in an amount of 70% or more of a total weight of the binder resin.

摘要: A lubricant for a copper alloy die-casting die is mainly prepared by an inorganic nano-powder, an organic substrate material, and an organic resin material. In the present disclosure, the use of oil-based lubricants as a basis and the reduction of the content of oil in the lubricant yield improved oil selection and proportion, which cooperates with the corresponding higher proportion of inorganic powder material mixture and a more suitable spraying amount applied on the surface of the die to exert a good lubricating effect on products with complex and irregular shapes in the inner cavity of a die-casting die. At the same time, the production cost of the lubricant is low. Copper alloy die castings produced after a lubrication process have a high yield rate and smooth surfaces without casting defects.

摘要: Provided is a continuous process for converting waste plastic into recycle for polyethylene polymerization. The process comprises selecting waste plastics containing polyethylene and/or polypropylene and preparing a blend of petroleum and the selected plastic. The amount of plastic in the blend comprises no more than 20 wt. % of the blend. The blend is passed to a refinery hydrocracking unit. A liquid petroleum gas C3-C4 olefin/paraffin mixture, and optionally naphtha, is recovered from the hydrocracking unit and passed to a steam cracker to make ethylene. A heavy fraction can also be recovered from the hydrocracking unit and passed to an isomerization dewaxing unit to prepare base oil.
