摘要: The method according to the invention consists in that the carrier is covered with at least two varnished layers, the two layers being made of electron curable varnishes, which may contain an additive increasing adhesion between the layers, and if the layer which is applied first, counting from the side of the carrier, containing an interlayer adhesion increasing additive, is irradiated with an excimer lamp and then pre-polymerized by electron radiation or UV light, then after applying the second layer also containing an interlayer adhesion increasing additive, the combined layers are cured by electron radiation or UV light. On the other hand, if the layer applied first, counting from the carrier side, is only pre-polymerized by electron radiation or UV light, then after applying the second layer, which then contains an additive increasing adhesion between the layers, it is subjected to irradiation by an excimer lamp and then the combined layers are cured by electron radiation or UV light. As a result, it is possible to obtain a product whose layer refined with excimer lamp and the layer only cured with electron radiation or UV light, are bound together regardless of the order of their occurrence.

摘要: A method of making a homogeneous mixture of polyolefin solids and carbon solids without melting the polyolefin solids during the making. The method comprises applying acoustic energy at a frequency of from 20 to 100 hertz to a heterogeneous mixture comprising the polyolefin solids and the carbon solids for a period of time sufficient to substantially intermix the polyolefin solids and the carbon solids together while maintaining temperature of the heterogeneous mixture below the melting temperature of the polyolefin solids, thereby making the homogeneous mixture without melting the polyolefin solids.

The polymer sealing layer includes many polymer molecules chemically bonding to the ceramic sealing layer as a result of polymerization reactions of at least one monomer on the ceramic sealing layer as opposed to from coating of a pre-polymerized polymer composition on the ceramic sealing layer.

By blending thermoplastic polymers with appropriate fillers and/or recycled materials, a composition is produced that can be pressed into a desired shape, or that can be additionally mixed with oils, resins and/or waxes to provide a liquid that can be poured onto an appropriate substrate.

The method includes: coating indium tin oxide dispersion, electrolyte solution, and electrochromic material on the surface of the metal fiber sequentially, and preparing counter electrodes and polymer protective layer on the outside of the electrochromic layer to obtain the long-range electrochromic fiber. The obtained long-range electrochromic fiber can realize the regulation of infrared emissivity, can be continuously prepared for more than 100 meters and has a good application prospect in infrared camouflage, wearable display, etc.

摘要: The present invention is directed at coatings for oven bake clay that when applied make the surface of the resulting object food safe. Among the many different possibilities contemplated, the coating may contain one or more food safe plastics that may be in particle form and may form suspensions or colloids when mixed with water, food safe oil or other food safe liquids to ease application. Among the many potential additional ingredients contemplated, the coating may contain one or more surfactants to improve the formation of a suspension or colloid or one or more food safe dyes so that the oven bake clay can be painted. Among the many methods of making the coating contemplated, the components may be mixed to form a suspension or colloid through one or more of agitation, stirring or sonication. It is further contemplated that the coating may be applied to an unbaked oven bake clay object and then baked or alternatively applied to a baked oven bake clay object and then re-baked.

摘要: Thin film labels, systems, and methods of making and using thereof are described. The thin film systems contain a label and a carrier film, where the label contains an overprint layer, indicia, and an adhesive layer. The carrier film may be coated on one or both sides with a release liner. The adhesive layer can be any suitable adhesive, such as a pressure sensitive adhesive, a fluid activatable adhesive, a heat activated adhesive, or a contact activated adhesive. The label is formed by printed or coating one or more layers of precursor material on the carrier film using standard printers. Suitable precursor materials include, but are not limited to epoxys, solvent cast films, polyurethane dispersions, such as acrylic-urethane hybrid polymer dispersions and polyester-polyurethane dispersions. After the overprint layer dries or is cured, the indicia are printed onto the overprint layer, then the adhesive is coated on top of the indicia.

摘要: A high pressure pipe of high density polyethylene material includes an internal lining (3), an intermediate reinforcement layer (2) and an outer cover layer (1). The high density polyethylene material of the internal lining (3) is filled with a filling material (5). As a result, the mixture of high density polyethylene and filling material provides resistance against higher temperatures, allowing the pipe to be able to transport fluids at elevated temperatures.
