摘要: A two-component solventless adhesive composition is disclosed. The composition comprises an isocyanate component comprising an isocyanate prepolymer that is the reaction product of a polyisocyanate and an isocyanate reactive component comprising at least 40 wt % of a polyester polyol, based upon the dry weight of the isocyanate reactive component, a polyol component having an average functionality between 2.5 and 4.5 and an average molecular weight between 250 and 1,000, and comprising at least 30 wt % of a polyether polyol, based upon the dry weight of the polyol component, and an adhesion promoter. A method for forming laminates comprising the disclosed adhesive compositions is also disclosed.

摘要: Provided are an emulsifiable isocyanate composition and a preparation method therefor. The emulsifiable isocyanate composition comprises the following components: (a) a polymethylene polyphenyl polyisocyanate, (b) an emulsifier, (c) an adduct derived from a diisocyanate, and optionally (d) a terpene monomer. The emulsifiable isocyanate composition is used in artificial board adhesives, and has a smaller mold cumulative effect, an improved demoulding performance and an extended pot life.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an aqueous dispersion for use in a cosmetic, which has both the flexibility and hair styling properties (hair set retention properties), and which allows for easily re-styling hair when the hair style once set has been disturbed; and a cosmetic including the same. In the above mentioned aqueous dispersion and the cosmetic, a polyurethane is used, which is obtainable from a polyol component including at least one type of a polyether polyol and a polyester polyol, and a polyvalent isocyanate component, wherein the polyol component includes: a polyether polyol containing as a major component a structural unit derived from a polyalkylene glycol having from 2 to 4 carbon atoms, and having a number average molecular weight of 400 or more and 4,000 or less; or a polyester polyol containing a structural unit derived from at least one type of dicarboxylic acid selected from the group consisting of phthalic acid, isophthalic acid and terephthalic acid.

摘要: The present invention relates to a process for producing polyurethane moldings, wherein (a) organic polyisocyanates are mixed with (b) one or more compounds having at least two hydrogen atoms which are reactive toward isocyanate, comprising polyester polyol, (c) blowing agent, (d) catalyst, and (e) propylene carbonate and compounds selected from the group consisting of at least one compound of the general formula (I) and a compound of the formula (II), to give a reaction mixture, introduced into a mold and allowed to react to give a polyurethane molding. The present invention further relates to polyurethane moldings obtainable by such a process and also the use of these moldings as steering wheels, seats, armrests and in particular as shoe soles.

Also provided are a decorative material having superior design aesthetics that uses the above matte coating composition, and a method for producing the decorative material. A matte coating composition used for forming a surface protective layer that can utilize gloss difference to portray an uneven three-dimensional feel, wherein the matte coating composition contains a silica and a binder component, and is at least one of heat-curable and ionizing radiation-curable, the silica has an average particle size determined by a laser diffraction method of 3 to 10 μm, and a primary particle size calculated from the specific surface area of 10 to 50 nm, and the amount of the silica, relative to the resin solid fraction of the matte coating composition, is from 20 to 30% by weight.

摘要: Co-distilling a mixture of para-phenylene diisocyanate (PPDI) and solvent, collecting the mixture of solvent and PPDI as a solution, reacting this solution with a polyol to form a prepolymer, and then removing unreacted PPDI by distillation in the presence of one or more solvents provides lower color prepolymer and higher quality polyurethane resin than a similar process that omits the co-distillation of PPDI and solvent prior to reaction with the polyol.
