摘要: Disclosed is a waste processing plant and method of processing waste biomass. The plant includes a waste receiving apparatus for receiving biomass waste and processing it into a liquid stream before passing it to, anaerobic hydrolysis tanks for hydrolysis, acidification and acetylation of the stream, before passing it to, a heat exchanger for raising the temperature of the stream to a pasteurization temperature, pasteurization tanks for holding the stream at the pasteurization temperature to ensure adequate pasteurization before passing it to, and anaerobic methanogenesis tanks for anaerobic digestion of a portion of the stream into biogas. Also included is a centrifugation apparatus to separate oil from the stream, wherein at least a portion of the stream which is downstream of the hydrolysis tank(s) and upstream of the methanogenesis tank(s), and which has a temperature of above 68° C., is centrifuged by the centrifugation apparatus to remove a portion of the oil.

The method for preparing the composition includes providing an antigen, providing an iodine carrier for the antigen, and combining the antigen and the iodine carrier. The system for preparing the composition for antibody activation includes an airless reservoir to contain a volume of iodine, an injection device for injecting an antigen into the reservoir containing the iodine, and a pump for pumping the antigen and iodine mixture from the reservoir to a delivery device.

摘要: The present invention relates to a biological filtration process for water loaded with nitrogenous pollutants in order to reduce the global nitrogen content of said water, characterised in that it comprises a first step of nitritation and filtration carried out in a first aerated biological reactor, a second step of deammonification, denitrification and filtration carried out in a second non-aerated biological reactor, and a step of evaluation of the ratio of the nitrite content to the ammoniacal nitrogen content of the water at the outlet of the first reactor. When this ratio is greater than a predetermined stoichiometry value, the process according to the invention comprises a step of addition of water to be treated to the water originating from the first reactor so as to obtain, at the inlet of the second reactor, a mixture having a ratio of the nitrite content to the ammoniacal nitrogen content that is close to the stoichiometric ratio of the Anammox reaction.

The reverse osmosis filtration system (100, 100A, 100B, 100C) further comprises a pump unit (50, 50A, 50B, 50C) arranged between the raw water pipeline (L1) and the reverse osmosis filtration unit (10, 10A, 10B, 10C), wherein the pump unit (50, 50A, 50B, 50C) is configured to selectively pump the raw water in the raw water pipeline (L1) to the reverse osmosis filtration unit (10, 10A, 10B, 10C) according to a pressure in the product water outflow pipeline. The reverse osmosis filtration system (100, 100A, 100B, 100C) can operate stably even when a pressure in the raw water pipeline (L1) is low, can provide the operation stability of the reverse osmosis filtration system (100, 100A, 100B, 100C), and can realize on-demand water supply for the reverse osmosis filtration unit (10, 10A, 10B, 10C).

In one embodiment, the system comprises a biological reactor fluidly connected to a source of wastewater and having a treated wastewater outlet, a fixed film biological reactor connected to the source of wastewater and having a fixed film effluent outlet, and a ballasted system fluidly connected to the fixed film effluent outlet. The ballasted system may comprise a ballast reactor tank configured to provide a ballasted effluent, and a source of ballast material fluidly connected to an inlet of the ballast reactor tank. The system may further comprise a bypass line having an inlet fluidly connected to the source of wastewater, a first outlet fluidly connected to the ballasted system, and a second outlet fluidly connected to the fixed film biological reactor, the bypass line configured to bypass the fixed film biological reactor.
