    Abstract: A landing door of an elevator system has a door leaf equipped with an integrated floor display that indicates to a person the floor at which an elevator car approaching the floor of departure is currently located. The door leaf of the landing door has a wall element made of sheet metal, the floor display having at least one controllable light source arranged behind the wall element, and a cover layer. The wall element has a display segment with a plurality of light passage openings, the light passage openings forming a perforated screen structure. The cover layer functions such that after the light source is activated to display the desired floor information, light from the light source penetrates through the light passage openings and the cover layer to the outside and when the light source is deactivated, the cover layer does not let light through to the outside.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a floor terminal for an elevator system in a building, comprising an elevator operating terminal and a wireless network device. The elevator operating terminal has a user interface for calling an elevator cabin, an elevator data interface for communicating data with an elevator controller, and a processing device which is coupled to the user interface and the elevator data interface. The wireless network device has a wireless transceiver for communicating with a communication device, a data interface for communicating data with the network access point, and a processing device coupled to the wireless transceiver and the data interface. By using such a floor terminal, a building can be equipped with additional functionality with relatively little installation effort during a redevelopment process.

    Abstract: A method of providing a mobile car operating panel system includes establishing communication between a mobile device and a mobile wireless access point associated with a car operating panel within an elevator car. A user interface provided on the mobile device is operable to command the car operating panel through the mobile wireless access point. A proximity between the mobile device and the car operating panel is determined. A car call is registered to command a stop landing of the elevator car based on verifying the proximity of the mobile device to the car operating panel within a threshold distance and an input through the user interface on the mobile device indicating the stop landing.
