Abstract: An operation system performs autonomous operation by using an operation server for an autonomous driving vehicle. The operation server includes a memory unit containing three-dimensional map data. An autonomous driving vehicle connects to the operation server via a wireless network. A vehicle control unit creates a traveling route based on the map data received and, when an elevator of a building is to be used, creates elevator usage information and elevator control information, including the boarding and exiting floors. The elevator is equipped with an elevator control unit that is connected to the operation server to control ascending and descending of an elevator cage. A control unit of the autonomous driving vehicle transmits the elevator usage information and the elevator control information to the elevator control unit. The elevator control unit gives a voice announcement from a voice output unit in the elevator cage.

Abstract: The present invention provides an elevator button kit for adding contactless sensing to control operations of an elevator though an elevator controller. The elevator button kit comprises a plurality of buttons and a bus. Each button comprises a primary switch for directly controlling the elevator controller, wherein the primary switch requires physical contact to the button to trigger the same; a secondary switch adapted to be triggered electronically; a position sensor for sensing presence of objects within a sensing range; and a microcontroller (MCU) having both the position sensor and the secondary switch connected thereto. The bus connecting the MCUs of the plurality of the buttons to form a MCU network, wherein operationally, range data from each position sensor is acquired by the connected MCU and broadcasted to the other MCUs through the MCU network, and each MCU processes the collected range data from the MCU network to determine whether to send a trigger signal to activate the connected secondary switch to control the elevator controller. A method thereof is also provided.

Abstract: A building system includes an elevator system installed in a building. First and second waiting zones for users of the elevator system are specified, wherein the second waiting zone is located in an access region to an elevator of the elevator system. The building system further includes a call input apparatus that receives an elevator call from a user located in the first waiting zone or in a fixed environment of the first waiting zone, and a control apparatus that is communicatively connected to the call input apparatus. In response to a call input from the first waiting zone, the control apparatus can either request the user to wait there until they are called to go into the second waiting zone or can request them to immediately enter the second waiting zone. An allocated elevator can be communicated to the user in the first or second waiting zone.

The intent recognition system includes an intent recognition device that detects a user location and/or behavior in a building and detects a triggering event based on the user location and/or behavior that suggests the user wants to input a service request, a prompt device that is triggered to provide a prompt based on the detecting by the intent recognition device and the detected triggering event, a listening device that receives an auditory input from the user, a signal processing device that processes the received auditory input and generates a control signal, and in-building equipment that receives the control signal from the signal processing device and controls the in-building equipment based on the control signal.
