    摘要: An apparatus for handling three-dimensionally curved snack food chips. The apparatus includes a first conveyor for conveying a series of the snack food chips on a conveying surface and an inverting station located at an output end of the first conveyor. The inverting station includes an inverter configured for transferring the snack food chips from an output end of the first conveyor into contact with an internal concave surface of the inverter. A drive system for the inverter is configured to move the internal concave surface downwardly to cause movement of the snack food chips downward from an upper portion to a lower portion of the internal concave surface. A depositing station is located and configured for depositing the snack food chips from the lower portion of the internal concave surface onto a second conveyor configured for receiving snack food chips from the depositing station and conveying them away.

    摘要: A packaging process includes the steps of receiving distinct clusters of products, orienting layered groups, moving the groups closer together, and inserting the bundle within a respective package. With the receiving step, the sum of the products of the clusters is equal to the number of products that can be accommodated in a layer of the final package. The products are mutually stacked so as to constitute respective layered groups that constitute a bundle. The layered groups that constitute a bundle are oriented according to the correct alignment required for its entry into the final package. The layered groups that constitute a bundle are moved closer to mutually contact the last product of one group with the first product of the contiguous group. Finally, the bundle constituted by the compacted layered groups, is inserted within a respective package.

    摘要: A boxing system includes a first conveyor and a second conveyor that convey packages at predetermined intervals, a robot that simultaneously holds and transports a package group, and a control device. The control device controls the robot to cause it to accumulate the package groups in a boxing area. The control device generates a first command causing the package group to be directly transported from the conveyance area to the boxing area. The control device also generates a second command causing transporting of the package group from the conveyance area to a temporary placement area different from the boxing area. A third command generated by the control device causes transporting of the package group from the temporary placement area to the boxing area. The control device causes the robot to execute the first command, the second command, and the third command to accumulate the package groups in the boxing area.
