Abstract: A sheet storage apparatus and a sheet handling apparatus that allow attaching or removing of a storage bag with a simple structure and less space are provided. The sheet storage apparatus of the present disclosure includes an attachment unit including an attachment portion to which a storage bag for sheets is attached, a moving unit that moves the sheets toward an inside of the storage bag, and a first slide unit that slides at least any one of the attachment unit and the moving unit such that a relative position between the attachment unit and the moving unit is changed between a first position in which the attachment portion is covered with the moving unit and a second position in which the attachment portion is exposed to allow attaching or removing of the storage bag.

Abstract: A medicine verification device of the present invention includes: a detection unit that detects a boundary recess formed at a boundary position between a plurality of packaging bags each of which packs a medicine and is connected to form a continuous packaging bag having a strip-like shape; and an image capturing unit that captures an image of a surface of an imaging target portion on which at least the boundary recess is located a plurality of times while imaging conditions are changed in a state where light is emitted toward the surface of the imaging target portion in the continuous packaging bag, wherein the detection unit detects the boundary recess in the imaging target portion on the basis of the plurality of images captured while changing the imaging conditions by the image capturing unit.

Abstract: An item packing system configured to sort and/or pack items into item containers, the system comprising a robotic arm. At least one end effector for holding and manipulating an item to be sorted and/or packed, wherein at least one end effector comprises a pressure sensing assembly. A controller configured to receive sensor signals from the pressure sensing assembly to obtain an indication of a magnitude of contact pressure for contact between the end effector and the item held by the end effector. A direction of contact pressure for contact between the end effector and the item held by the end effector, wherein the controller is configured to determine whether the end effector is correctly holding the item based on the indication of the magnitude of the contact pressure and the indication of the direction of contact pressure.

Abstract: A lumber stacking and strapping system can provide a single-station solution for both lumber stacking and package strapping. In addition, the package strapping system may apply multiple straps simultaneously to the package. For example, a package stacking and strapping system can provide not only a mechanism for formulating a package of lumber one layer at a time, but also a mechanism for lowering a completed package directly into a compression and strapping station, such as using the lumber stacker package accumulation hoist. The stacking and strapping system can then simultaneously apply strapping around the package in multiple positions along the length of the package, with bottom battens and top corner protectors further supplied and strapped into place as desired. A method for stacking and strapping a package in a single location is also provided.
