Abstract: Apparatus, system and process useful for bundling packaging articles particularly in a stack thereof. The apparatus and system includes at least a first bundling apparatus and second bundling apparatus, wherein the relative linear displacement of the first bundling apparatus and the at least second bundling apparatus is variable, and which further includes a reconfigurable bridge between the first bundling apparatus and the second bundling apparatus. A process of utilizing the apparatus and system is also disclosed. Also disclosed is a bidirectional strap magazine which may be used with one or more of the bundling apparatus.

Abstract: A strapping machine and head are provided including a mounting base, a sealing assembly including a cutter for cutting the strapping tape and a sealing element for welding a strapping tape. The sealing assembly, which is slidably disposed on the mounting base, includes a first, second, and a third clamping mechanism, for clamping the strapping tape. A belt feeding assembly including a first motor, a driving wheel and a guide block fixedly disposed on the mounting base. The driving wheel rotatably disposed on the mounting base and an arc-shaped belt feeding channel is formed between the driving wheel and the guide block. The first motor drives the driving wheel to rotate, and a driving assembly drives the sealing assembly close to or away from the driving wheel. A balanced tension is applied to a strapping tape through a strapping machine head to improve the strapping quality of the strapping machine.

Abstract: A strapping machine and head are provided including a mounting base, a sealing assembly including a cutter for cutting the strapping tape and a sealing element for welding a strapping tape. The sealing assembly, which is slidably disposed on the mounting base, includes a first, second, and third clamping mechanism, for clamping the strapping tape. A belt feeding assembly including a first motor, a driving wheel and a guide block fixedly disposed on the mounting base. The driving wheel is rotatably disposed on the mounting base and an arc-shaped belt feeding channel is formed between the driving wheel and the guide block. The first motor drives the driving wheel to rotate, and a driving assembly drives the sealing assembly close to or away from the driving wheel. Abstract: An apparatus and method for banding a wrapped silverware arrangement with a two-sided segment of banding material bearing a treatable adhesive on one side thereof utilizes a pair of jaw members which are movable between open and closed conditions for capturing a wrapped silverware arrangement and a clamp assembly for releasably holding an end of a banding material segment. With an end of the banding material segment held by the clamp assembly and the jaw members being disposed in an open condition, the jaw members are lowered onto a wrapped silverware arrangement so that the banding material segment is draped across the wrapped silverware arrangement and so that subsequent movement of the jaw members to the closed condition captures the silverware arrangement between the jaw members and positions the banding material segment in an inverted U-shaped orientation about the wrapped silverware arrangement. The one end of the banding material segment is thereafter released from the clamp assembly and exposed to heat to render the adhesive borne by one region of the segment tacky. The wrapped silverware arrangement is thereafter rotated about its longitudinal axis so that the tacky region of adhesive is moved into contact with another surface region of the banding material segment so that the banding material segment is thereby secured in a band about the wrapped silverware arrangement.
