Abstract: A binding machine includes a wire feeding unit, a curl forming unit, a cutting unit, a binding unit, and a transmission unit that transmits movement of the binding unit to the cutting unit. The binding unit includes a locking member that locks a wire, a sleeve that actuates the locking member, and a rotary shaft that actuates the sleeve. The transmission unit includes a displacement member to be displaced by movement of the sleeve, and a transmission member that transmits movement of the displacement member to the cutting unit. The cutting unit includes a movable blade part connected to the transmission member. The displacement member switches an amount of movement of the movable blade part and a force that can be generated by the movable blade part, within a moving range of the movable blade part.

Abstract: A system for isolating each end of a cylindrical coil wall from a tensioned binding medium employed to retain the coil wall in an axially compacted state. The system includes a magazine for containing a supply of pliable inserts. A feeding mechanism advances inserts from the magazine and along a guide for successive delivery to a clamp. The clamp is operative to releasably hold an insert received from the guide. The clamp is shiftable to position the insert in a gap between the end of the coil wall and a path along which a binding medium is directed prior to being tensioned. When the binding medium is tensioned, the insert is pulled from the clamp into a protective position tightly sandwiched between the tensioned binding medium and the coil end.

Abstract: A strap sealing module is provided. The strap sealing module includes a moving cutter having a first shearing surface and a first dovetail member and a bearing plate having a second dovetail member. The first dovetail member is matingly and slidably coupled with the second dovetail member to slidably couple the moving cutter to the bearing plate. The machine also includes a stationary cutter fixedly secured to the bearing plate, the stationary cutter having a second shearing surface. A strap feed path is defined between the moving cutter and the stationary cutter. The moving cutter is slidable along the bearing plate in a first direction toward the stationary cutter so as to overlap the stationary cutter by a predetermined clearance in a cutting position and slidable in a second direction away from the stationary cutter to a retracted position.

Abstract: A strapping machine having a movable working assembly includes comprises a machine body, a chute, and a movable working assembly. This machine body contains a storing space. The chute has an upper chute portion and a lower chute portion. The movable working assembly which is in the storing space includes a horizontal movable portion, a vertical movable portion, a working device, and an operation linkage mechanism. When the vertical movable portion moves to the move-down position, the lower chute portion is separated from the upper chute portion. Then, the movable working assembly can be moved out for easy maintenance. So, it is quick and easy to repair any internal device or part inside the strapping machine. Abstract: A rocker assembly of a strapping machine has a rocker having a seat, a positioning panel mounted on the seat and being able to swing, and two teeth panels slidably mounted on the positioning panel. When a fixed end and a tightening end of a wrapping strap are mounted between the rocker assembly and a tensioning wheel, the teeth panels slide and the positioning panel swings to adjust engaging surfaces and engaging forces between the teeth panels and the wrapping strap according to thickness of the wrapping strap.
