    摘要: A cutting system includes an articulated robot and a cutting device, and the cutting device includes a body and a cutter unit. The body includes a motor that rotates a rotary blade. The cutter unit includes a case housing a part of the rotary blade and a guiding part linked to the case and housing another part of the rotary blade, and has, between the case and the guiding part, a space for cutting into which an object to be cut (a film) is introduced. The articulated robot moves the cutting device and the object to be cut relative to each other. A part of the rotary blade is exposed in the space for cutting, and the cutter unit of the cutting device is attachable to and detachable from the body.

    摘要: A strap sealing module is provided. The strap sealing module includes a moving cutter having a first shearing surface and a first dovetail member and a bearing plate having a second dovetail member. The first dovetail member is matingly and slidably coupled with the second dovetail member to slidably couple the moving cutter to the bearing plate. The machine also includes a stationary cutter fixedly secured to the bearing plate, the stationary cutter having a second shearing surface. A strap feed path is defined between the moving cutter and the stationary cutter. The moving cutter is slidable along the bearing plate in a first direction toward the stationary cutter so as to overlap the stationary cutter by a predetermined clearance in a cutting position and slidable in a second direction away from the stationary cutter to a retracted position.

The singulation apparatus comprises: i) a processor; ii) at least one chuck device for securing the workpiece to be cut; iii) a cutting device spaced from the at least one chuck device by a separation distance, the cutting device being for cutting the workpiece secured to the at least one chuck device; and iv) an imaging device operable to capture one or more images comprising the cutting device and a reference feature. In particular, the processor is configured to determine a separation distance between the cutting device and the reference feature based on the one or more images as captured by the imaging device, to thereby determine the separation distance between the cutting device and the workpiece as secured to the at least one chuck device.

    摘要: A score knife positioner includes a carriage bracket having a locating tab for receiving a score knife assembly. Linear bearings are attached to the carriage bracket and are configured to engage with a pair of guide rails. The linear bearings are offset from one another and located so that score knife positioners on either side of a particular score knife positioner can be nested together. The carriage bracket has a width less than a width of the score knife assembly and allows adjacent score knife assemblies to be positioned so that there is less than one-half inch between score knifes. Score knife positioners can be moved to a desired location and locked into place via a carriage brake attached to the carriage bracket.
