    摘要: A gear housing for an aquatic vessel is adapted to be attached at an attachment site to an underside of a hull of the aquatic vessel. The gear housing includes at least one weakened region adapted to yield when the gear housing is rotated at the attachment site following an impact. A breakaway safety system includes such a gear housing, and a fracturable member for attaching the gear housing to the hull at the attachment site, wherein the weakened region is adapted to yield such that the fracturable member fractures. An aquatic vessel includes such a gear housing or such a breakaway safety system.

    摘要: A ship propulsion system includes at least one marine propeller, at least one electric motor which drives the at least one marine propeller, and an inverter-fed power supply system which supplies the at least one electric motor with electric power. The power supply system includes at least one drive machine and at least one generator driven thereby. The at least one electric motor and the at least one generator are configured as three-phase synchronous machines. In order to reduce losses per kW installed power and thus to allow for a stronger energizing field in the stator winding, the at least one electric motor configured as a three-phase synchronous machine and/or the at least one generator configured as a three-phase synchronous machine of the power supply system is/are provided with an air-gap three-phase winding devoid of iron grooves as the power supply system. The bundle conductors of the winding are made from insulated thin cooper wires that are disposed in an annular gap between a rotor and a laminated iron yoke, and the air gap three phase winding is reinforced by a plastic structure and/or embedded in or impregnated with resin and to which a pertaining cooling device is connected by which the heat produced in the cooling device is dissipated.

    摘要: The propeller drive is installed with its drive shaft inside a boat hull and it's driven (propeller) shaft outside. The shafts are interconnected by a silent chain. The drive shaft position is adjustable to adjust the distance between it and the driven shaft, thus adjusting tension in the chain. The drive shaft is carried in two bearings which are installed eccentrically in two bearing carriers. The bearing carriers are rotatably mounted in a casing and are structurally interconnected by a connector. The adjustments are made by rotational adjustment of the connector relative to the casing.

    摘要: This invention discloses a seal arrangement between an outdrive unit and a hull of a vessel, comprising an outdrive unit connected to an engine and mounted on a bed of the hull, the outdrive unit projecting downward through an opening in the hull; a diaphragm seal fixed to the hull and the outdrive unit for sealing a space between the hull and the outdrive unit; an annular seal flange projecting above the diaphragm seal from the bed toward the outdrive unit; and a ring seal arranged between the outdrive unit and the seal flange for sealing a space therebetween; characterized in that; both ends of the ring seal are fastened to the outdrive unit and the seal flange, respectively. A water sensor connected to a warning device is arranged in a space between the diaphragm seal and the ring seal.
