摘要: A vehicle can include a body coupled communication (BCC) sensor. A computer in the vehicle can detect that an occupant of a vehicle is touching a screen of a user device, based on a signal from the BCC sensor. Further, it can be determined whether the occupant is in the position of the vehicle operator. Upon determining that the occupant is in the position of the vehicle operator, a gaze direction of the occupant of the vehicle can be determined while the occupant is touching the screen. A prediction can then be output that occupant attention is directed to the screen based on the gaze direction and the signal from the BCC sensor.

An information display apparatus displaying information onto a vehicle includes: an information display apparatus displaying image information onto an image display region on a forward part of a driver seat of the vehicle; and a spatial sensing means detecting positional information of instruction made by a driver in a spatial region between the driver seat and the displayed image display region, and the information display apparatus includes a means displaying the instruction made by the driver onto the image display region on the forward part in response to the positional information of the instruction made by the driver, detected by the spatial sensing means.

摘要: A control method is performed by an information display system displaying information on one or more display units included in a vehicle. The information display system executes guidance processing for guiding a line of sight of a driver of the vehicle toward a display unit which is not in the line of sight. The control method including: obtaining vicinity information indicating a state of vicinity of the vehicle from a device outside the vehicle; determining whether or not the driver should pay more attention to the state of the vicinity indicated in the vicinity information than the information displayed on the one or more display units; and executing control for suppressing the guidance processing when it is determined that the driver should pay more attention to the state of the vicinity than the information displayed on the one or more display units.

摘要: A head-up display system includes a first plurality of on-board sensors adapted to detect vehicle driving characteristics, a wireless communication module adapted to receive information from external sources, a driver monitoring system adapted to track a driver's eyes, and a controller in electronic communication with the first plurality of on-board sensors and the wireless communication module, the controller adapted to determine if the vehicle is performing a parking maneuver, and, when the vehicle is performing a parking maneuver, to capture images of an environment surrounding the vehicle, detect objects within the environment, identify location markers for a parking space and objects within the environment surrounding the vehicle adjacent to the parking space, determine the position of the vehicle relative to the identified location markers and objects, and display, with a projection module a parking assist graphic adapted to provide guidance to a driver of the vehicle.

摘要: A driving support system includes a three-dimensional (3D) projector and a driver monitoring apparatus. The driver monitoring apparatus and the 3D projector share a camera system. A camera captures an image of a driver of a vehicle, divides the captured image into a plurality of divisional captured images, and transmits the plurality of divisional captured images separately. A first controller performs a first detection process to detect first information associated with a position of an eye of the driver in response to receiving at least one of the plurality of divisional captured images from the camera. A second controller generates, in response to receiving all of the plurality of divisional captured images from the camera, a captured image by composition, and performs a second detection process to detect second information associated with a driving state of the driver.

When the obstacle sensor is in operation, the display control unit: transforms a detection target area, which falls in a detection range of the obstacle sensor and expands from the vehicle to a periphery along a road surface, into a detection target image represented from a viewpoint of a driver of the vehicle; and displays a transformed image to be superimposed on the surrounding view of the vehicle.

摘要: An autonomous vehicle seat positioning system has a controller connected to a display, a control panel and a positioning mechanism of a vehicle seat assembly. The controller operates in a position saving mode and a position selecting mode. In the position saving mode, positioning inputs made by the first occupant are saved in memory as a first upright setting corresponding to the first occupant manually driving the vehicle. Positioning inputs made by the first occupant of the vehicle seat assembly are also saved in memory as a first relaxation setting corresponding to the first occupant viewing the display with the vehicle operating in a self-driving mode. In the position selecting mode, the controller operates the positioning mechanism to move the vehicle seat assembly to positions corresponding the first upright setting or the first relaxation setting.
