Abstract: Disclosed is a method of providing driving information of an autonomous vehicle performed by an apparatus that includes a first sensor unit, a second sensor unit, a processor, and a projection unit. The method includes: acquiring, by the first sensor unit, surroundings information of the autonomous vehicle; acquiring, by the second sensor unit, information on an occupant on board the autonomous vehicle; generating, by the processor, main driving information from the surroundings information of the autonomous vehicle acquired by the first sensor unit; determining, by the processor, the main driving information to be provided to the occupant from among the main driving information based on the information on the occupant; and providing, by the projection unit, the main driving information determined by the processor to the occupant of the autonomous vehicle.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods to obtain feedback descriptive of autonomous vehicle failures. In particular, the systems and methods of the present disclosure can detect that a vehicle failure event occurred at an autonomous vehicle and, in response, provide an interactive user interface that enables a human located within the autonomous vehicle to enter feedback that describes the vehicle failure event. Thus, the systems and methods of the present disclosure can actively prompt and/or enable entry of feedback in response to a particular instance of a vehicle failure event, thereby enabling improved and streamlined collection of information about autonomous vehicle failures.

Abstract: An operating arrangement for a construction machine comprises an operating device which comprises a touch-sensitive display for inputting operating instructions by an operator, and an operating mask with localization markers. The operating device comprises at least a first alignment feature for aligning the operating mask on the operating device in a pre-defined operating position relative to the operating device. The operating mask is detachably attached to the operating device in the operating position, wherein the operating mask at least partially covers the touch-sensitive display, and wherein the location markers of the operating mask lie over specified areas of the display and facilitate locating the specified areas of the display for inputting instructions.

For each of the identified vehicles, based on a current location of the identified vehicle, vehicle-independent information is obtained to determine context surrounding the identified vehicle, where the vehicle-independent information includes vehicle surrounding information that defines physical constraints imposed on the identified vehicle. For each of the identified vehicles, one or more trajectories for the identified vehicle are predicted based at least in part on the vehicle-independent information associated with the identified vehicle. The autonomous vehicle is controlled based on the one or more predicted trajectories of the one or more identified vehicles.

Abstract: A system for controlling a motion of a vehicle from an initial state to a target state includes a path planner to determine a discontinuous curvature path connecting the initial state with the target state by a sequential composition of driving patterns. The discontinuous curvature path is collision-free within a tolerance envelope centered on the discontinuous curvature path. The system further includes a path transformer to locate and replace at least one treatable primitive in the discontinuous curvature path with a corresponding continuous curvature segment to form a modified path remaining within the tolerance envelope. Each treatable primitive is a predetermined pattern of elementary paths. The system further includes a controller to control the motion of the vehicle according to the modified path.

The method includes disabling the one or more vehicle input devices based at least in part on the identified operating mode of the autonomous vehicle such that an input by a user with respect to the one or more vehicle input devices does not affect an operation of the autonomous vehicle.
