Abstract: An object detection vision system and methods are disclosed. A method for detecting objects in a vision system of an industrial machine includes receiving image data from one or more vision cameras and receiving detection data from one or more detect devices. The detection data includes one or more detected objects. The method includes combining the detection data and the image data and transforming the detection data in the image data based on one or more objects in the image data. The method also includes displaying an indication of the detected one or more objects in the image data based on the transformed detection data.

Abstract: An input method of performing an input manipulation according to information concerning manipulation bodies in contact with or close to a manipulation surface has a step to select a coordinate input mode or function input mode according to the number of manipulation bodies, a step to select a desired function according to a first manipulation associated with the number of manipulation bodies, a step to select a desired item according to a second manipulation associated with an operation of manipulation bodies, a step to establish selection according to a third manipulation associated with an operation of manipulation bodies, and a step to execute an input according to a fourth manipulation associated with an operation of manipulation bodies. In the function input mode, the first, second, third, and fourth manipulations are performed in succession while a plurality of manipulation bodies are kept in contact with or close to the manipulation surface.

Abstract: There is provided a vehicle including a peripheral steering wheel, a grip forming a part of the wheel and being held by a user, and input units formed inside the wheel. Each input unit includes a first input switch to be actuated by a pressing action of a user's thumb, a second input switch to be actuated by a pressing action of the user's thumb, and a third input switch provided between the first input switch and the second input switch to be actuated by a sliding action of the user's thumb on the third input switch on the wheel while the user is holding the grip. The input by the first input switch allows a cyclic change to be performed for changing drive modes.

Abstract: An operating arrangement for a construction machine comprises an operating device which comprises a touch-sensitive display for inputting operating instructions by an operator, and an operating mask with localization markers. The operating device comprises at least a first alignment feature for aligning the operating mask on the operating device in a pre-defined operating position relative to the operating device. The operating mask is detachably attached to the operating device in the operating position, wherein the operating mask at least partially covers the touch-sensitive display, and wherein the location markers of the operating mask lie over specified areas of the display and facilitate locating the specified areas of the display for inputting instructions.

Abstract: A control element for a motor vehicle provides a palpable response when touched. The control element includes a sensor, a touch-sensitive surface, which when touched causes the sensor to respond. An inert surface surrounds the touch-sensitive surface, which when touched does not cause the sensor to respond. An actuator is disposed between the touch sensitive surface and the inert surface and includes two components that can move relative to each other. One component is connected with the touch-sensitive surface, and the other component is connected with the inert surface. The actuator drives a motion of the touch-sensitive surface relative to the inert surface once a contact has been acquired.

Abstract: A driver can intuitively and conveniently perform an operation for instructing a traffic lane change to a vehicle. In a driving support device 10, an image output unit 14a outputs, to a display unit 31, an image containing an own vehicle object representing an own vehicle and a plurality of traffic lanes. An operation signal input unit 14b receives an operation of a user for moving the own vehicle object in the image displayed on the display unit 31 from a first traffic lane to a second traffic lane. A command output unit 14c outputs, to an automatic driving control unit 20 that controls automatic driving, a command for instructing the change of a traveling traffic lane of the own vehicle from the first traffic lane to the second traffic lane when the operation is received.
