The HCU displays, based on the vehicle position information and the vehicle surrounding information, a front area image including the vehicle on the meter display when an autonomous driving function is not demonstrated, and displays the front area image and a rear area image including a following vehicle in a continuous and additional manner on the meter display when the autonomous driving function is demonstrated.

摘要： Methods and devices are provided for use in a vehicle. Driving information of the vehicle is obtained. The driving information includes transmission state information of the vehicle and information for an autonomous driving function. When the transmission state information indicates a position other than drive, a size of an exposed region of a first display is controlled to be a first size. When the transmission state information indicates drive and the driving information indicates that the autonomous driving function is enabled, the exposed region of the first display is controlled to be a second size that is less than the first size. When the transmission state information indicates drive and the driving information indicates that the autonomous driving function is disabled, the exposed region of the first display is controlled to be less than the second size.

The ECU also controls instrument panel so that instrument panel does not display a first indication when a predetermined condition does not hold true, and displays the first indication when the predetermined condition holds true, the predetermined condition being a condition that a display-related user operation has been performed. The first indication can be prevented from being mistaken as the second indication, without requiring a display-related user operation.

摘要： The present invention relates to a method, a computer program with instructions, and a device for generating a display of an augmented reality head-up display for a motor vehicle. In a first step, a position of the motor vehicle is determined. A plurality of virtual elements for a navigation hint is then provided on the basis of the position of the motor vehicle. The virtual elements, as seen from the motor vehicle, extend on both sides in a lateral direction to outside a field of view of the augmented reality head-up display. Finally, at least that virtual element which has the shortest distance to a center of the field of view is rendered.
