摘要： Systems and methods of an intuitive two-dimensional warning indicator are provided. Various embodiments include a warning indicator for mounting on an instrument panel of a vehicle. The warning indicator may include a plurality of illumination bars defining a polygonal shape representing a two-dimensional layout of the vehicle's surroundings. The warning indicator may be configured to illuminate at least one illumination bar of the plurality of illumination bars based on a warning issued by a vehicle system of the vehicle. The driver may be able to see the warning indicator in his/her peripheral vision while looking forward while driving. Associated vehicles including the warning indicator are provided. Associated methods are also provided.

The overlay of additional information may support the driver in the longitudinal control of a vehicle. The overlaying of the additional information may be configured in the form of augmented reality such that it is calculated in a contact analogue manner in relation to one or more objects in the environment of the vehicle. When approaching a vehicle, a spatially extended animation graphic is calculated, wherein the animation graphic has a grid shape consisting of a plurality of grid elements, which extends from the observer vehicle up to the oncoming or preceding vehicle. The spatial extension is calculated such that the driver of the observer vehicle (10) has the impression of a kinematic or dynamic movement of the spatial extension, such as translation and rotation.

摘要： A safety assist device includes an object detection camera and a radar that detect the presence of an object and a position of the object on a lateral side or a rear side of an own vehicle, a vehicle speed sensor that detects a vehicle speed of the own vehicle, a driver's seat-side display and a passenger's seat-side display that are provided on a lateral side of a driver's seat inside the own vehicle, and a controller that causes the driver's seat-side display and the passenger's seat-side display to display a signal in response to the presence of the object detected by the object detection camera, the radar, and the like. The controller moves a position at which the signal is displayed toward a front side in a display range of the driver's seat-side display and the passenger's seat-side display in accordance with an increase in the vehicle speed detected.

The user interface may additionally cause presentation of visual indicators that indicate the presence of an object that is not shown on the user interface, but that is moving in a direction such that the object will soon be visibly displayed on the user interface.

摘要： A driving assistance apparatus includes a controller programmed to perform a deceleration assistance process of assisting in decelerating a vehicle before the vehicle arrives at a deceleration object, and to control a display apparatus to display, in a first display area, first notification information for notifying an occupant of the vehicle of the deceleration object that is a target for the deceleration assistance process. When a first object and a second object that is different from the first object are both detected as the deceleration object and the second object is the target for the deceleration assistance process but the first object is not the target for the deceleration assistance process, the controller is programmed to control the display apparatus to display, in a second display area, second notification information for notifying the occupant of the first object, the second display area is different from the first display area.

摘要： This document describes a pedestrian alert system that can draw a driver's attention to a pedestrian on or near a roadway. The described pedestrian alert system can help prevent collisions with pedestrians and other objects in poor visibility environments or when drivers may be distracted. For example, a system can determine a presence of an object in or near a travel path of a host vehicle. The system can also determine the object's position relative to the host vehicle and control a light bar to provide an indication of the object. The indication can have specific characteristics to indicate the object's position relative to the host vehicle. In this way, the described pedestrian alert system can utilize sensors to focus a driver's attention on an object before a potential crash occurs and reduce the number of traffic-related deaths.
