Abstract: A method for computing a display of additional information for display on a display unit. The insertion of additional information supports the driver in the longitudinal guidance of a transportation vehicle. The insertion of the additional information takes place as an augmented reality display, so that the additional information is computed contact-analogously to one or more objects in the environment of the transportation vehicle. The position of a transportation vehicle traveling in front is detected. When the observer transportation vehicle is approaching the transportation vehicle in front, an animated graphic is displayed section by section in a periodically recurring manner starting from the observer transportation vehicle.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a device for the improved visualization of a notice in a motor vehicle. A contact-analog head-up display places information in direct contact with the environment. In contrast to conventional head-up displays, the information appears as part of the environment. Some embodiments provide an information container that is placed at a distance x from the vehicle which grows corresponding to the reduction of the distance x, and is placed fixed relative to the environment to produce the effect of a container located in reality. The necessity of an interaction may be communicated by the element remaining stationary. That is, shortly before the position of the information container is reached, it remains immobile in the field of vision and is “pushed” in front of the ego vehicle. This makes it immediately apparent that an operation is needed to acknowledge the pop-up respectively to thereby trigger an action.

Abstract: Technologies and techniques for human-machine interaction in a motor vehicle, wherein a first graphical element is superimposed into a visual field of a user via an AR system such that the element is arranged within a display region. A scrolling input signal is detected via an input interface and a sensor system to determine a highlighted direction. Using a computing unit, a scrolling path is determined on the basis of the highlighted direction. Using the AR system, the first graphical element is moved out of the display region along the scrolling path, depending on the scrolling input signal.

Abstract: A method, a computer-readable storage medium with instructions, a device, and a system for calibrating a pair of augmented-reality glasses in a transportation vehicle and a transportation vehicle and a pair of augmented-reality glasses suitable for the method. A set of points in an interior of the transportation vehicle is illuminated sequentially. At least a subset of the illuminated points are captured by a camera arranged in the pair of augmented-reality glasses. Through a comparison of the subset of the illuminated points that have been captured by the camera with a known geometry of the set of points, a transformation specification for the pair of augmented-reality glasses is determined.
