摘要: A vehicle suspension assembly includes a vehicle frame rail, a slide rail extending longitudinally along the vehicle frame rail and slidably adjustable thereto, a support bracket extending downwardly from the slide rail, a trailing arm pivotably coupled to the support bracket, a spring member positioned between the trailing arm and the slide rail, and an elastically resilient coupling arrangement coupling the slide rail to the vehicle frame rail, wherein the coupling member is configured to elastically deform during vertical displacement of the vehicle frame rail with respect to the slide rail.

摘要: A torsion bar spring arrangement for a wheel suspension of a motor vehicle includes an actuator arranged on a vehicle body or on a subframe and constructed to variably pre-tension the torsion bar spring arrangement, a coaxial first torsion bar spring having an output side that is connected by way of an output lever to a wheel suspension element of the wheel suspension, and a housing of the actuator supported on the vehicle body in at least one bearing location for movement in a circumferential direction and resiliently yieldingly supported on the vehicle body in the direction of torsional moments acting on the torsion bar spring by way of at least one spring element.

摘要: A vehicular frame assembly is manufactured by initially providing a vehicular frame assembly that is formed from a plurality of structural members, each having an inherent torsional rigidity. Then, a desired inherent torsional rigidity can be determined for at least one of the plurality of structural members. Lastly, the at least one of the plurality of structural members can be deformed to achieve the desired inherent torsional rigidity. Alternatively, the vehicular frame assembly can be manufactured by initially providing a plurality of structural members, each having an inherent torsional rigidity. A desired inherent torsional rigidity can be determined for at least one of the plurality of structural members, and the at least one of the plurality of structural members is deformed to achieve the desired inherent torsional rigidity. Lastly, the plurality of structural members can be assembled to form the vehicular frame assembly.

摘要: A front cross member 202 of a rear subframe 53 has a recessed portion 221 which is recessed continuously over a longitudinal direction thereof. The recessed portion 221 is formed at a lower portion of the cross member 202 and is recessed upwardly, and an elastic bush 240 is fitted in a resulting recess. The elastic bush 240 has an elastic element 243 which connects together an inner tube 241 and an outer tube 242 which surrounds the inner tube 231 and is mounted on the rear subframe 53 at the recessed portion 221 as a bracket. The bracket 221 has bracket plate portions 263a, 263b which each have a plane which is brought into contact with an end face of the inner tube and folded-back portions 235, 235. The bracket 221 is disposed in such a manner as to hold therein both ends of the inner tube 241 and is configured such that the elastic bush 240 is mounted thereon by passing a bolt 224 through the inner tube 241.

摘要: Provided is an offset tandem axle assembly system with a pair of walking beams mounted to suspension hangers so that about sixty percent of the overall beam length is oriented between the hanger pivot and a non-driven axle and about forty percent of the overall beam length is oriented between the hanger pivot and the driven axle. A torque rod pivotally connects the non-driven axle to each suspension beam. A single resilient air spring mounted between the non-driven axle and each suspension beam dampens loading and rebound for both the driven and non-driven axles. The non-driven axle can be either a tag axle or a push axle and may be self steering.

摘要: An integrated fifth-wheel hitch and axle suspension assembly for mounting on a truck with a pair of spaced apart frame rails comprises a fifth-wheel hitch carriage adapted for mounting a fifth-wheel hitch, a pair of suspension brackets for mounting an axle suspension component and an integrating connector rigidly connecting the fifth-wheel hitch carriage to the suspension brackets at opposite sides of the hitch carriage. The integrating connector, the hitch carriage and the suspension brackets define an elongated opening for slidably receiving the truck frame rails so that the integrated fifth-wheel hitch and axle suspension assembly can slide as a unit onto the truck frame rails. An integrated connection interface includes a plurality of electronic and pneumatic connectors in a connector harness for selectively connecting electronic and pneumatic systems on a truck with electronic and pneumatic components of an integrated fifth-wheel hitch and axle suspension assembly.

摘要: An automobile sub-frame structure for supporting two double wishbone type rear suspensions on its respective sides includes a pair of juxtaposed first members extending in a direction widthwise of a vehicle body, a pair of opposed second members extending substantially vertically and each rigidly secured at an upper portion thereof to one end of each first member, and a pair of third members rigidly secured to lower portions of the second members and to a lower surface of a central portion of each first member. In the sub-frame structure, a plurality of truss structures are formed by the first, second and third members so that the sub-frame structure will be sufficiently rigid. Each double wishbone type rear suspension includes upper and lower control arms for pivotably supporting a rear wheel, which control arms are pivotably connected at their inner ends to the second members in the vicinity of portions connecting the first and second members and in the vicinity of portions connecting the second and third members, respectively.
