    Abstract: An automotive tire inflation device is provided, including an electric inflation module, a fixing module, a power supply module, a sensing module, a control module, and a data transmission module. In the present disclosure, it is possible to inflate the tire while in motion, avoiding the driver from stopping for a long time to replace the spare tire or inflate. The fixing device can adjust the fixed position. Inflation can be started and stopped automatically. The inflation would stop when the tire is full, without the need for the driver to manually separate the inflating device. In addition, an alarm can be generated for abnormal situations, and all data and alarm information can be transmitted back to the cabin, timely, drivers can refer to the corresponding information to choose manual control or parking for maintenance.

    Abstract: A computer-implemented method as disclosed enables predicting of vertical loads on a vehicle tire. Thermal characteristics for a particular vehicle-tire combination are retrievably stored, the thermal characteristics determined as corresponding to a range of temperature values further correlated with a plurality of operating conditions, and the plurality of operating conditions comprising at least a vertical load. A model for predicting transient temperature behavior is generated (e.g., empirically trained) based on one or more tire-specific time constants. During operation of the vehicle-tire combination and responsive to at least a first temperature value, a computing device residing on the vehicle or otherwise cloud-based in nature is configured to determine a predicted vertical load based on a predicted second temperature value from the model and further based on the retrievably stored one or more thermal characteristics.

    Abstract: In order to adjust the tire internal pressure on landing to an appropriate internal pressure, the internal pressure and temperature of the tires when housed inside the aircraft in flight, the temperature and atmospheric pressure around the aircraft, and the altitudes and air temperatures at the takeoff and landing sites of the aircraft are obtained, and a target internal pressure at takeoff is calculated from information relating to the altitude and air temperature at the takeoff airport, after which an in-flight tire internal pressure whereby the tire internal pressure becomes a target internal pressure on landing is calculated from the temperature and atmospheric pressure around the tires of the aircraft, the air temperature and atmospheric pressure at the landing airport, and information relating to a load anticipated to act on the tires on landing, and subsequently the in-flight tire internal pressure is adjusted so that the obtained internal pressure of the tires housed inside the aircraft becomes the calculated in-flight tire internal pressure.

    Abstract: A system and method for determining the wheel load for a wheel of a first axle, based on the wheel load for a wheel of a second axle, and the wheel speed ratio between the first and second axle. As a result, wheel load can be calculated for axles not easily adapted to receive load sensors, e.g. a rear axle of an agricultural tractor. The system uses a characteristic map of the relationship between wheel load and wheel geometry, e.g. wheel circumference, for different tire pressure values of a wheel to provide an efficient and effective mechanism for the determination of wheel load.
