In particular, a face shield is disclosed that acts as a seal when used with a patient interface. The face shield may be manufactured from a low melt temperature hard thermoplastic material. The face shield may be formed initially formed to match the general contours of the face, but not customised to a specific user's face. The face shield may be crosslinked to provide shape memory to the seal and to improve its handling properties and is configured to be thermoformed to a user's face. The face shield may be customised to the patient's facial features to a second customised shape.

摘要： A forming method of a composite magnetic sheet. The forming method comprises a preparing step, a forming step and a heat-treating step. In the preparing step, magnetic slurry is prepared by mixing at least a soft magnetic powder having a flat shape, a first resin having a solid component and a second resin having a solid component, weight loss of the solid component of the first resin being 4.0% or less at 220° C., weight loss of the solid component of the second resin being 5.0% or more at 220° C. In the forming step, the magnetic slurry is formed into an intermediate body having a sheet-like shape. In the heat-treating step, the intermediate body is heat-treated at a heat-treatment temperature between 220° C. and 400° C. (both inclusive).

In some embodiments, a vapor pressure solid may include a one- or multi-component matrix material. In some embodiments, the multi-components matrix material is a two-part PDMS comprising a first and second matrix material. The first matrix material is capable of being mixed with one or more vaporizable fluids that causes the first matrix material to swell. The second matrix material is capable of being mixed with the swelled first matrix material to produce an actuating material. When the actuating material is heated, the one or more vaporizable fluids expand, resulting in vapors. The increased pressure applied by the vapors causes the actuating material to expand.
