Abstract: A tamper evident closure (100) for containers having a threaded neck and a locking shoulder. The closure has a top (102) and an annular skirt (104) defining a cavity (105). The skirt has an upper portion (106) having threads (110) projecting into the cavity (105) for engaging the threaded neck, a lower portion (108) having a tuck ring (114), and a peripheral slit (112) between the upper portion and the lower portion. The peripheral slit (112) is interrupted by a plurality of hinge bridges (116), a plurality of pairs of sacrificial bridges (118) spaced from one another by a gap (120), and a plurality of vertical splits (124). One of each split (124) is in registration with a respective gap (120). The sacrificial bridges (118) and the tuck ring (114) break upon removal of the closure to divide the tuck ring into segments (126) between the vertical splits (124). The segments bend radially outward along the hinge bridges by a camming action on the locking shoulder on removal of the entire closure from the container.

Abstract: A compact fast-opening cap for a container having a mouthpiece with an outer annular perimetric rib, includes a base ring preventing separation from the mouthpiece; a protective cap or cover for opening and closing the mouthpiece; a hinge integrally joining the base ring and the cover; and frangible bridges that connect a lower edge of the cover with an upper edge of the base ring. The hinge includes strips or bridges connecting the cover to the base ring and an extension enlarged outwardly that forms an integral part of a lower end of the cover and that becomes engaged to the perimetric rib of the mouthpiece when the cover rotates around the hinge from a closed to an open position to create a stable positioning in the open position. A multi-thread or multi-start thread. provided inside the cover. is coupled with threads on an external wall of the mouthpiece.

Abstract: The present teachings relate to a screw-cap closure, in particularly the closure shell, which consists of horizontal and vertical elements, placed on the closure shell's cylindrical sidewall inner surface. Horizontal parts include a plurality of thread segments, and both ends of the cylindrical sidewall (where cylindrical side wall ends and slopes start). Vertical elements consist of areas with increased wall thickness under both ends of the plurality of thread segments. Combination of aforementioned elements create a frame, that guarantees sufficient structural stiffness and allows to decrease the closure's wall thickness.

Abstract: The invention relates to closure devices with opening indication element for bottles with a threaded neck. The closure device for bottle having a neck, comprising a pour sleeve (10) made with the ability to be installed on the neck, a closed sleeve (1) with means of fixation on the pour sleeve (10), a sealing means (11), an open sleeve (3) and an indicator ring (5), wherein the closed sleeve (1) and the open sleeve (3) form a cavity (4), and the indicator ring (5) is provided with an annular belt (6) placed in said cavity (4) before the first opening. The annular belt is made with the ability to be released from said cavity during the first opening and preventing the return of the indicator ring to its initial position when closing the bottle again. In another embodiment, the open sleeve can form a cavity with the closed sleeve (1), as well as an indicator ring (5) with annular belt (6) placed in the cavity (4) with the ability to be released during the first opening and preventing the indicator ring (5) from returning to its initial position when the bottle is closed again. Technical result of the invention is increased reliability and security of the closure cap indicating any opening by improving the visual indication of opening of the bottle and strengthening the protection against its bad-faith reuse.

Abstract: A closure assembly for a carton, which includes a closure, a neck to which the closure is mounted and a cutter received within the neck for piercing a foil of the carton. The closure includes a retaining ring for securement around the container neck below an annular flange of the neck, a lid pivotally connected to the retaining ring and a tamper evidence band frangibly connected to the retaining ring. The closure engages the cutter when it is rotated, which causes the cutter to pierce the foil of the carton as the closure is opened. The tamper evidence band has a rotational stop which engages a rotational stop of the container neck to separate the tamper evidence band from the retaining ring on first rotation of the closure in the opening direction.
