    摘要: An auto-adjusting pocket hole jig docking station including a housing and an adjustment mechanism. The adjustment mechanism carried by the housing and including a first rack and a second rack reciprocally movable between raised and lowered positions, relative the body. A double pinion gear is rotatably carried by the housing with a first gear in meshing engagement with the first rack and a second gear in meshing engagement with the second rack. The first gear and the second gear having a rotational ratio therebetween wherein movement of one of the first rack and the second rack moves the other of the first rack and the second rack a distance proportional to the rotational ratio.

The jig comprises a base for supporting the work piece and a first template operatively coupled to the base and having a bolt-hole guide located along a first axis of the template, the bolt-hole guide having a diameter sized to receive a first drill bit. The jig also includes a second template operatively coupled to the base and having a barrel-nut hole guide located along a second axis of the template, perpendicular and intersecting the first axis. The barrel-nut hole guide has a diameter larger than the diameter of the bolt-hole guide and is sized to receive a second drill bit.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a drilling tool and method for modifying a blind hole in a blade root insert of a wind turbine. The invention further relates to an apparatus and method for cleaning a blind hole. The method for modifying a blind hole comprises: removing a blade screw located in the blind hole, inserting a drilling tool into the blind hole, fixing the drilling tool in a drill, recessing the blind hole by a predetermined depth, with a maximum diameter of the end section and of the hole bottom after recessing being smaller than or equal to a diameter of the end section prior to recessing and a transition from the end section to the hole bottom being round after recessing, removing the drilling tool and the drill, mounting the blade screw in the modified blind hole.
