The methods of the present invention provide enhanced deposition inhibition of particulate matter in top-pressure recovery turbines. The methods of the present invention comprise adding nitrogen-containing compounds to a top-pressure recovery turbine, inhibiting deposition of solids formed from blast furnace gas on top-pressure recovery turbine components.

摘要: A reboiler in fluid communication with a fractionator column in an offshore low temperature process removing carbon dioxide from natural gas has a vessel volume. A carbon steel tubing bundle is disposed within the vessel volume. Each tube in the bundle has an outer surface with a porous granular metal layer deposited thereon. The granular metal layer comprises a pore size distribution which promotes bubble nucleation during vaporization of a nearly pure liquid carbon dioxide stream.

摘要: A flue-gas purification system includes a flue-gas cycling system, a reactor, and an absorbent adding system having at least a catalytic absorbent, wherein the catalytic absorbent is being gasified for reacting with the flue-gas in the reactor in a homogenous gas-gas phase reacting manner. Therefore, the purification system has fast reaction rate between the pollutants of the flue-gas and the catalytic absorbent, which is preferably ammonia, to efficiently remove pollutants, so as to effectively purify the flue-gas.

摘要: A device for decreasing hydrogen concentration of a fuel cell system is installed in an exhaust system for discharging exhaust gas which includes hydrogen and air and is discharged from fuel cells to the atmosphere through an exhaust line. The device includes a catalyst diluter having catalysts for diluting the hydrogen in an exhaust gas by generating a catalytic reaction and connected to the exhaust line. An air diluter is disposed outside the catalyst diluter and guides external air to a gas exit side of the catalyst diluter.

摘要: A method of synthesizing manganese oxide nanocorals comprises the steps of a) heating a potassium permanganate solution; (b) providing manganese sulfate in a basic solution; (c) combining the manganese sulfate basic solution drop-wise with the heated potassium permanganate solution until a brown precipitate is formed; (d) stirring the brown precipitate for a period of about 12 hours at a temperature greater than 300 K; (e) isolating the precipitate; and (f) drying the precipitate inside an oven at a temperature greater than 300 K to provide manganese oxide nanocorals. The manganese oxide nanocorals include nanowires having a diameter typically ranging from about 20 nm to about 40 nm.
