摘要: A lifting equipment includes a guide rail; a climbing assistant, suitable for ascending and descending along the rail, said climbing assistant having a carriage and a first anti-fall device installed between the said carriage and the said guide rail, and the said first anti-fall device being capable of locking onto the said guide rail when the said carriage experiences weightlessness; a second anti-fall device for installation between the said guide rail and the personnel working on the said carriage, and the said second anti-fall device being capable of locking onto the same guide rail as the said climbing assistant when the personnel on the said carriage become weightless. The first anti-fall device used for the climbing assistant and the second anti-fall device for the personnel are installed on the same guide rail, and allowing the guide rail to be installed in the most optimal position.

摘要: A detection device comprises a roller rotating around an axis. A member is fixed to the roller. The member is designed to come into contact with a clamp. The member is mounted movable with respect to the axis to come into contact the clamp or not. Rotation of the roller generates a centrifugal force designed to move the member towards the clamp. When the speed of rotation of the roller reaches a threshold value, the member come into contact with the clamp to block the roller. The member has a flyweight and a ratchet separated by a plane perpendicular to the first axis of rotation of the roller. The plane is offset with respect to the contact surface between the member and the clamp. The flyweight is located farther from the axis than the contact area with the clamp in a radial direction.

摘要: A device for warning about the absence of belaying of a climber includes an enclosure intended to be fastened to a harness. A pressure sensor is designed to measure a barometric pressure. A detector, intended to be fastened to a link, is configured to detect a movement of the link within a range of positive inclines with respect to a horizontal reference plane. The detector is also configured to output a detection signal comprising a first state, indicating that the link is within the range of positive inclines, and a second state, indicating that the link is outside the range of positive inclines. A microprocessor is configured to compute a variation in the barometric pressure measured by the pressure sensor, and send a warning signal as soon as the variation in the barometric pressure exceeds a predetermined threshold and the detection signal is in the second state.

摘要: A method of determining the likelihood of a slip or fall comprises receiving, by a detection application stored in a non-transitory memory and executed on a processor, a plurality of sensor readings from a plurality of movement sensors, comparing, by the detection application, the plurality of sensor readings with a plurality of movement patterns stored in a database, determining, by the detection application, that at least one of the movement patterns of the plurality of movement patterns matches the plurality of sensor readings, and generating, by the detection application, an indication that a slip or fall is likely based on the plurality of sensor readings. The plurality of movement sensors is associated with different areas of a worker's body.

摘要: A locking system is provided for fall protection. The locking system includes a housing. The housing defines a guide path through which the housing is slideably attached to a guide member. The locking system also includes a braking lever having a braking surface and an attachment end. The braking lever is configured to rotate so as to allow a braking surface to engage the guide member. The locking system further include a locking lever that is rotatably coupled to the braking lever. The locking lever is rotatable such that it rotates from an unlocked position to a locked position. In the unlocked position an activation end of the locking lever is positioned in a first location that is proximate to the attachment end and in the locked position the activation end is positioned in a second position distant to the attachment end.
