Abstract: A vascular occlusion catheter for partial occlusion or full occlusion includes a proximal outer shaft, a distal outer shaft, and an occlusion balloon therebetween. The proximal shaft has first and second internal lumens, the first internal lumen being in fluid communication with the balloon. The distal shaft has a distal internal lumen. A hypotube extends through the first internal lumen, through the balloon and into communication with the distal internal lumen. A first window is formed in the proximal shaft and a proximal sensor is positioned within the second internal lumen at the window. A second window is formed in the distal shaft and a distal sensor is positioned within the distal internal lumen at the window. A display hub is positioned along the proximal shaft and electrically connected with the sensors The uninflated vascular occlusion catheter has a greatest outer diameter of seven French or less.

Abstract: A drainage catheter system comprising a catheter having an elongate body \configured for insertion into an organ or cavity of a patient and a hub configured for coupling with a longitudinal shearing device and the first end of the catheter and movable over the elongate body of the catheter. A locking stay suture extends through the elongate body of the catheter. The length of the elongate body of the catheter can be adjusted by sliding the hub coupled to the longitudinal shearing device along the longitudinal axis of the catheter, and then creating a longitudinal cut in the catheter through which the proximal end of the locking stay suture can be removed and secured, thereby enabling the excess catheter tubing to be removed by cutting and allowing the base to rest flush against the patient's body.

Abstract: The systems and devices disclosed herein are for a catheter tip that includes a support frame. The support frame can include a longitudinal axis, a collapsed delivery configuration, and an expanded deployed configuration. Abstract: Polymeric tubing, for use with catheters or other medical devices, where the polymeric tubing can have regions of customized properties including, but not limited to, durometer, torque control, flexibility, axial strength, stiffness, etc. One variation of the device allows for transitions between regions to be configured such that there can be gradual or customized transitions between various regions such that the structural characteristics differential between the regions selectively designed. Additional variations include outer layers having a plurality of material sections extending in a spiral direction along the axial length to form a continuous wall of the outer layer. In certain variations, the structural characteristic differential is minimized or eliminated as compared to conventional catheters.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a delivery catheter for implanting a leadless biostimulator. The delivery catheter includes a shaft and a tubular body having a lumen and an atraumatic end. The atraumatic end includes at least one of a braided, woven or mesh construction configured to facilitate the atraumatic end changing diameter. When a distal portion of the shaft is coupled to a proximal region of the leadless biostimulator, at least one of distally displacing the tubular body relative to the shaft or proximally displacing the shaft relative to the tubular body causes the leadless biostimulator to be received in the volume of the atraumatic end and the atraumatic end to encompass the leadless biostimulator. Conversely, at least one of proximally displacing the tubular body relative to the shaft or distally displacing the shaft relative to the tubular body causes the leadless biostimulator to exit the volume of the atraumatic end.

Abstract: A catheter for a hepatic artery introduced from an arm of a patient includes a first bent portion, a second bent portion distal of the first bent portion and bent to the same side as the first bent portion, a third bent portion disposed on a distal side of the second bent portion and bent to an opposite side from the second bent portion, and a most distal end portion disposed distal of the third bent portion, in which a minimum radius of curvature of the first bent portion is larger than a minimum radius of curvature of the second bent portion. The most distal end portion is directed to a common hepatic artery and the first bent portion comes into contact with an aorta wall on an opposite side from a celiac artery when the second bent portion contacts a blood vessel wall of the celiac artery.

Abstract: A catheter probe configured with a capability to present a larger tissue contact area or “footprint” for larger, deeper lesions, without increasing the french size of the catheter, especially its distal section, includes an elastically deformable electrode configured to adopt a neutral configuration and a tissue contact configuration. The deformable electrode comprising a hollow porous tube with a distal portion having a closed distal end, and a proximal portion defining an opening to an interior of the tube, where the distal tip end is received in the tube through the opening and the distal section is generally surrounded by tube, with the proximal portion being affixed to an outer surface of the distal section. In some embodiments, the closed distal end is shaped with a bulbous portion that can spread and widen to provide a larger surface contact area.
