摘要： A beverage ingredient mixing and dispensing assembly can include an adapter configured for attachment to a beverage container and can include a beverage ingredient receptacle having a piercing assembly configured to pierce a frangible seal of a beverage ingredient cartridge. The piercing assembly can pierce the seal and allow a beverage ingredient from within the cartridge to pass into the beverage container for mixing with a liquid and thereby forming a mixed beverage. The beverage ingredient receptacle can be removable. A plurality of different seized beverage ingredient receptacles can be removably attached to the adapter. A retainer member can be placed over a top end of a beverage ingredient cartridge positioned in the beverage ingredient receptacle.

摘要： A medical product includes a bladder, a filtration device, and a sterile product concentrate. The bladder has a perimeter seal and defining a sterile chamber. The filtration device includes a stem and a filter membrane disposed in line with the stem. The stem extends through the perimeter seal and has an inlet end accessible from outside of the perimeter seal and an outlet end in fluid communication with the sterile chamber. The filter membrane can have a nominal pore size in a range of approximately 0.1 μm to approximately 0.5 μm, wherein the filter membrane is shaped as a hollow fiber with a wall and pores residing in the wall of the fiber. The sterile product concentrate is disposed in the sterile chamber and adapted to be reconstituted by the introduction of a pharmaceutical fluid into the chamber through the filtration device.

摘要： Various implementations include a mixing vial system. The system includes a hypodermic syringe and a mixing vial. The mixing vial includes a vessel, a stopper, and a dislodgeable plug. The vessel includes an open end, a closed end, and a side wall. A hollow interior chamber is defined by the side wall and the closed end. The open end defines a neck. The stopper includes an open proximal end, a closed distal end, and a stopper side wall. The closed distal end and the stopper side wall define a hollow interior chamber. The stopper is positioned in a sealing relationship within the neck. The dislodgeable plug is positioned in and sealing the open proximal end of the stopper. The closed distal end of the stopper is penetrable by a needle of the hypodermic syringe to dislodge the dislodgeable plug to effect mixing of contents of the stopper and the vessel.

A pharmaceutical product is introduced in a liquid state into a first chamber of the flexible bag through a first port. The pharmaceutical product is lyophilized within the first chamber of the flexible bag to provide a lyophilized pharmaceutical product. The flexible bag has a second chamber and the first chamber and the second chamber are separated by a breakable seal. The second chamber further includes a reconstituting solution for reconstituting the lyophilized pharmaceutical product in the first chamber. A user may apply pressure to the flexible bag to break the seal and mix the lyophilized pharmaceutical product and the reconstituting solution to order to administer the pharmaceutical product to a patient.

摘要： A unified dispenser for holding, mixing, and dispensing a drug includes a housing holding a diluent reservoir, a drug reservoir, and a tubing set connecting and defining a fluid communication path therebetween. A first occlusion is at the diluent reservoir, and a second occlusion is at the drug reservoir. In a storage state of the dispenser, the first and second occlusions are entirely encased within the housing and occlude the fluid communication path. First and second pull assemblies extend outside the housing. The first and second pull assemblies are coupled to the first and second occlusions, respectively, so that removal of the first and second pull assemblies removes the first and second occlusions and joins the diluent reservoir to the drug reservoir in fluid communication through the tubing set, thereby arranging the dispenser from the storage state to a use state.
