Abstract:
A new-generation GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliant hygienic fluid particle diffuser allowing to release the particles of fluids such as bottled drugs, extracts and natural oils by generating a particular pressure without any heating process without degrading the essence of the fluid thanks to a disposable fluid chamber.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a spray apparatus for holding contents comprising diatomaceous earth and a compressed propellant for propelling the diatomaceous earth. There is also disclosed use of diatomaceous earth to control a population of bedbugs, wherein the diatomaceous earth comprises remains of pennate diatoms. There is also disclosed a method of controlling a population of insects, the method comprising causing a compressed propellant to propel diatomaceous earth on a surface. Method of manufacturing a spray apparatus and methods of preparing diatomaceous earth for use in controlling a population of insects are also disclosed.
Abstract:
An ecofriendly maritime pest management provides a compartmentalized and portable container for transporting an eclectic assortment of pest management devices insecticides, and baits. The ecofriendly maritime pest management kit has many novel features that enhance the capabilities to transport and compartmentalize pest management devices and nontoxic baits, and are useful for use on a maritime vessel on the ocean. The pest management devices and nontoxic baits articles are segregated into different compartments and color coded for quick access. The ecofriendly maritime pest management kit includes a mechanical pest entrapment device, a gimbally mounted container for containing a predetermined quantity of nontoxic insecticide, an insect repellant delivery device, an insect repellant solid composition, and a container for the insect repellant solid composition. The exterior pouches provides the option of carrying bait, sanitation gels, paper towels, contact information, medicine, or other articles beneficial for the management of pests on a maritime vessel.
Abstract:
A flying insect spray apparatus includes a casing having upper and lower portions that define an interior area. The casing may be mounted to a wall or ceiling of an enclosed structure such as a garage. A reservoir configured to hold an insecticide is positioned in the interior area, the reservoir having an outlet such as a hose. A pump is positioned in the interior area and electrically connected to the reservoir and configured to cause the insecticide to be urged from the reservoir when the pump is electrically actuated. The outlet is in fluid communication with a plurality of nozzles spaced apart radially about a dispensing member such that the insecticide is dispersed in a 360 degree radius of the casing. The spray apparatus includes a controller electrically connected to the pump that includes a timer, the controller configured to actuate the pump at a predetermined time.
Abstract:
A spray dispenser includes a housing for placement in a space. The housing is adapted to receive at least one container having a material therein for emission into the space in response to at least one of a timer, manual actuation and sensory input. The spray dispenser further includes at least three sensors distributed around a perimeter of the housing for the detection of sensory input.
Abstract:
A method of operating a dispensing device includes the step of entering a first active state, in which the detection of sensory input by a sensor initiates a first pattern activation sequence to energize a drive unit of the dispensing device for a first length of time and a second subsequent length of time to actuate a container. Upon completion of the first pattern activation sequence, the device enters a second active state. The detection of sensory input in the second active state initiates a second pattern activation sequence to energize the drive unit for a third length of time and a fourth subsequent length of time to actuate a container if the sensory input is detected before a time period P lapses. The dispensing device initiates the first pattern activation sequence if the sensory input is detected after the lapsing of the time period P.
Abstract:
The animal deterrent device of the present disclosure utilizes and automatic system to detect the presence of an animal in a designated area. Upon detection, the animal deterrent device releases a deterring stimulus. The deterring stimulus is intended to remove the animal from the designated area, and through continuous use, eventually training the animal from entering the designate area. The designation area can include: furniture, such as a couch, chair, table, etc; a room or portions thereof; plants, indoor or outdoor gardens; and the like.
Abstract:
Systems, devices, methods, and compositions that improve the scent perception for a user. Improved scent perception is achieved by presenting alternating scents and by varying levels of output of scents, as well as by minimizing device clogging, thereby improving evaporation profiles.
Abstract:
An apparatus for delivering a mist from a fluid comprises a housing defining a reservoir for accommodating the fluid and a pump in fluid communication with the reservoir for drawing fluid from the reservoir. A fluid distribution system is in fluid communication with pump for transmitting fluid from the pump. A controller is provided, including a programmable digital processor for selectively operating the pump according to predetermined control parameters.
Abstract:
Dispensing devices are disclosed that include a base, a reservoir that has a volatile active, and a housing. The housing includes a horizontal component and a vertical wall extending upwardly from the horizontal component. The horizontal component and the vertical wall define an interior volume of the housing. An activator is operatively connected to the reservoir. When the activator is activated, the volatile active is released from the reservoir into the interior volume of the housing to create a first quantity of volatile active having a first emanation rate and a second quantity of volatile active having a second emanation rate.
