    Abstract: A valve dispenses flowable product from a container. The valve includes a mounting cup for mounting the valve on the container, a seal supported on the mounting cup, and a valve stem extending through the seal. The seal and the valve stem define a generally annular passage section of the valve passage that extends longitudinally along the valve axis radially between the valve stem and the seal. At least one of the valve stem and the seal includes a baffle extending transverse to the valve axis, the baffle defining a flow restriction along the generally annular passage section.

    Abstract: The actuator for an aerosol dispenser is provided with an actuator body which has a skirt, a finger pad, an outlet conduit having a portion (132a) which protrudes from the skirt towards the outside, and a cap (20) that can be moved between an open position in which the finger pad is accessible to a user and a closed position in which the finger pad is inaccessible to a user. The cap (20) is fixed to the skirt by a hinge (21) so that it can pivot around the hinge between the open position and the closed position, and provided with a slot (24) which straddles the protruding portion (132a) of the outlet conduit when the cap is in the closed position or close to the closed position.

    Abstract: A dispensing system includes a container for a fluid substance having a hollow stem and dispensing means for feeding the pressurised substance thereto. A cap includes a base body including a first seat for coupling to the stem, the base body partially defining a conduit presenting a first end in fluid communication with the seat and a second end coupled with a spray nozzle. A pressure regulator regulates passage of the substance according to the pressure in the stem to reduce passage due to an increase in pressure in the cavity and increase the passage otherwise, in order to maintain an essentially constant pressure downstream of the regulator even in the presence of variable upstream pressure. A valve element on the conduit between the regulator and the nozzle may close the conduit when the pressure present inside the latter is below a predetermined threshold and open the conduit otherwise.

    Abstract: Dispensing systems, dispensers, and methods for dispensing a pressurized product from a container. Such a dispenser includes a cap, a nozzle within the cap so as to be translatable relative to the cap, an actuator within the cap so as to be translatable relative to the cap and relative to the nozzle, and a biasing member that urges the actuator and nozzle apart from each other. The nozzle is configured to attach to a valve stem of a canister and has a passageway through which the pressurized product is dispersed. The dispenser has a partially actuated position following a first actuation stage resulting from the actuator being translated until the actuator abuts the nozzle without causing the nozzle to translate, and a fully actuated position following a second actuation stage resulting from the actuator being further translated to cause the nozzle to simultaneously translate with the actuator.

    Abstract: An aerosol spray guide for an insecticide repellant dispensed from an aerosol can having an interior housing said insecticide repellant and an actuator having an opening for dispensing the insecticide repellant from the interior housing when actuated. The aerosol cap mount adapted for fixedly attachment to the aerosol can or cap such that the aerosol cap mount may be securely affixed to the aerosol can or cap wherein maneuverability of the aerosol can result in movement of said aerosol cap mount.
