    Abstract: An actuator for a spray can. The actuator includes a housing for attachment to an aerosol can covering a stem valve. A finger operating button structure is engaged with the housing for engaging the stem valve. A rotary two-way diverter valve is supported within the housing and rotatably engaged with the finger operating button structure. In a spray position/straw down, the two-way diverter valve directs spray through a first direct spray nozzle. In a second straw position/straw up, to make use of an adjustable straw, the diverter valve is rotated to engage a straw spray passage of the diverter valve in fluid communication with an adjustable rotary spray tip and engaged straw. By rotating the adjustable rotary spray tip to an aligned position, the tip substantially blocks the straw spray passage to provide a drip mode, where drops of fluid exit the straw. A flexible tip may optionally be provided on the straw to enable bending and retention of the flexible tip to a desired position.

    Abstract: A dispensing system includes a composition that includes one or more of a deodorizing composition, a fragrancing composition, or a cleaning composition. The system includes a container having a body. The composition is disposed within the container, and a pressure within the container is at least 930 kPa. The system further includes an actuator assembly coupled with the container. The actuator assembly includes a housing, an actuator positioned within the housing and comprising a fluid passageway in fluid communication with the composition, and a nozzle insert disposed within the fluid passageway. The nozzle insert defines a nozzle orifice having an orifice diameter of between about 0.335 mm and about 0.385 mm, and the composition comprises a compressed gas and between about 5% and about 10% by volume ethanol.

    Abstract: A manually operated applicator for spraying and dispensing expanding foam chemicals from aerosol containers is provided. The applicator dispenses compressed gas in close proximity to the foam as the foam exits the applicator, which results in improved adhesion of the foam to surfaces. The applicator includes a nozzle, an aerosol inlet for connection to an aerosol container, a gas inlet for connection to a source of compressed gas, and a trigger for operation of the applicator. The nozzle includes outlets for dispensing the foam and the compressed gas.

    Abstract: A shaving aid application apparatus is disclosed. According to at least one embodiment of the present disclosure, the apparatus includes a containing portion configured to hold a shaving aid; a head coupled to one side of the containing portion, an aid applying surface formed at one surface of the head; and multiple jetting holes located at the aid applying surface.
