    Abstract: A method and apparatus of making an aerosol container. A polymeric container may be provided. The container may have a closed end bottom and a neck longitudinally opposed to the closed end bottom. The container has an internal container volume. A valve and a bag may be provided and a portion of the valve and the bag may be disposed within the container. The bag has a first bag volume. A portion of the at least one of the neck and the bag may contact a portion of the valve to form a temporary seal. Propellant may be introduced into the container. The bag may be collapsed from the first bag volume to a second bag volume. The pressure of the propellant and the pressure within the bag equilibrate. The valve may be joined to the container and the propellant may be sealed within the container.

    Abstract: An aerosol hair care product includes a pressurisable container a propellant, a hair care formulation, and a spraying device. The pressurisable container is at a pressure of 9×105 to 11×105 Pa. The pressurisable container includes a container wall which encloses a reservoir. The propellant is contained within the reservoir. The propellant includes an insoluble compressed gas and has a first weight. The hair care formulation is contained within the reservoir. The hair care formulation has a second weight and includes starch having a third weight. The third weight is 3 to 15% of a sum of the first weight and the second weight. The spraying device is attached to the pressurisable container. The spraying device is configured to facilitate dispensing of the hair care formulation from the reservoir. The spraying device includes an actuator and a valve.

    Abstract: A stem of a valve for a container for dispensing pressurized fluid, has an inner channel inside a cylindrical housing connecting the at least one lateral inlet opening at its lower end and an outlet opening at its upper end. The inner channel has a conical shape at its lower end and the diameter of the cylindrical housing is increased towards the lower end of the stem and in particular in the section which corresponds to the section with lateral inlet openings. Both adaptations reinforce the stem and make it more resilient against bending and tensile forces.

    Abstract: A spray control apparatus for aerosol cans has a can coupling cap with a segmented and discontinuous aerosol can engaging ring. The cap top lip has a locking ledge having a bearing surface facing away from the can engaging ring, a cam track having a bearing surface facing toward the can engaging ring, and a guide slot therebetween. A plurality of generally planar reinforcing ribs radiate inwardly from the cap side wall. An actuator is concentrically within the cap, and has at least one cam protruding radially into the cap top lip. The cam engages the locking ledge bearing surface in a first rotary position and is thereby blocked from axial movement, and engages the cam track bearing surface in a second rotary position and is thereby driven axially toward the can engaging ring, and passes though the guide slot when rotated between the first and second rotary positions.

    Abstract: A system releases spray fluid in different mass flow rates. The system includes an actuator having a first area and a second area, a stem connected to the actuator and having a first orifice and a second orifice, a gasket covering the first orifice and the second orifice in a non-actuated position, and a biased member biasing the stem to the non-actuated position. When the first area of the actuator is pressed, the stem moves a first distance relative to the gasket to uncover the second orifice and compressing the biased member to spray fluid with a first mass flow rate. When the second area of the actuator is pressed, the stem moves a second distance relative to the gasket to uncover the first orifice and the second orifice to spray fluid with a second mass flow rate greater than the first mass flow rate.
