摘要: Embodiments include a method performed by a V2X user equipment (UE) for service discovery from a V2X application server (AS). The method includes sending, to a first address associated with the V2X AS, a first request for further address information associated with the V2X AS. The method also includes receiving, from the V2X AS via unicast signaling, a first response that includes the further address information associated with the V2X AS. The first request includes an identifier of the V2X UE but the first response does not include the identifier of the V2X UE. Other embodiments include complementary methods performed by a V2X AS, as well as V2X UE and V2X AS apparatus configured to perform such methods.

摘要: Methods and apparatus in a fifth-generation wireless communications, including an example method, in a wireless device, that includes receiving a downlink signal comprising an uplink access configuration index, using the uplink access configuration index to identify an uplink access configuration from among a predetermined plurality of uplink access configurations, and transmitting to the wireless communications network according to the identified uplink access configuration. The example method further includes, in the same wireless device, receiving, in a first subframe, a first Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) transmission formatted according to a first numerology and receiving, in a second subframe, a second OFDM transmission formatted according to a second numerology, the second numerology differing from the first numerology. Variants of this method, corresponding apparatuses, and corresponding network-side methods and apparatuses are also disclosed.

摘要: A selecting apparatus configured to select out of a set of content distribution network (CDN) entities a CDN entity for distributing content to a client device is described. Content distribution by a CDN entity is associated with a resource consumption, for example in regard of processing load. The selecting apparatus is configured to receive service performance reports for multiple CDN entities of the set of CDN entities and to select, upon determining from one or more of the service performance reports that a service performance of a first CDN entity is above a first result, a second CDN entity for content distribution to a client device. The selection is performed subject to the constraints that a service performance of the second CDN entity is below a second threshold and resource consumption in regard of the second CDN entity is lower than a resource consumption in regard of the first CDN entity.

摘要: Embodiments include methods performed by a V2X application enabler (VAE) client, of a V2X User Equipment (UE) arranged for communication with a VAE server. Such methods include sending, to the VAE server, a first request for registration or de-registration to receive intelligent transportation system (ITS) messages associated with at least one of the following: a first V2X service, when an identifier of the first V2X service is included in the first request; and a first geographic area, when an identifier of the first geographic area is included in the first request. Such methods also include receiving, from the VAE server, a first response comprising an acknowledgement of the first request for registration or de-registration. Embodiments also include complementary methods and/or procedures performed by VAE servers, as well as V2X UEs, VAE servers, and computer-readable media configured in accordance with the exemplary methods and/or procedures.
