摘要: The available transmission resources on a downlink-shared channel are divided into resource blocks, each resource block comprising a predetermined number of sub-carriers during a predetermined time period. The resource blocks are subdivided into localized resource blocks and distributed resource blocks. A user requiring sufficient resources can be allocated a plurality of said localized resource blocks. A user who would require only a small number of said localized resource blocks can instead be allocated subunits of a plurality of said distributed resource blocks.

摘要: Embodiments herein disclose e.g. a method performed by a wireless device (10) for handling communication for the wireless device in a second wireless communication network. The second wireless communication network coexists with a first wireless communication network on a same bandwidth in frequency, wherein the first wireless communication network applies a first shift in frequency in uplink transmissions. The wireless device receives from a radio network node (12, 13), an indication indicating application of a second shift in frequency to uplink transmissions in case the second wireless communication network uses Frequency Division Duplex (FDD). The wireless device further applies the second shift in frequency to uplink transmissions, wherein the second shift defines a shift in frequency to a subcarrier relative to a subcarrier grid of the second wireless communication network or a shift in frequency to the subcarrier grid of the second wireless communication network.

摘要: Systems and methods for positioning in a cellular communications system are disclosed. A method performed by a first base station (BS) includes receiving a signal transmitted by a second BS and estimating a Time of Arrival (TOA) of the received signal at the first BS according to a clock of the first BS. The method further includes determining a delta value that is or is a function of a time between the TOA of the received signal at the first BS according to the clock and a time reference at the first BS and either (a) providing the delta value to a positioning estimation entity within the communications system or (b) using the delta value at the first BS to reduce a time synchronization error between the first BS and the second BS, or (c) passing the delta value to a User Equipment.

摘要: Mechanisms for efficient transmission of large amount of download data from a base station to a user equipment in a multi-carrier that minimizes power consumption on the user equipment are described. When multiple component carriers are to be used to transmit the download data, the base station informs the user equipment. The base station transmits on the anchor carriers without wait after informing the user equipment and transmits on the non-anchor carriers after waiting a predetermined delay. The predetermined delay provides time to allow the user equipment to activate the receiving resources and be ready to receive the download data over the non-anchor carriers. In this manner, the user equipment can be in a power conservation mode and activate the receiver resources only when needed.
