Abstract: A wireless communication device includes: a transmission unit that transmits a request frame indicating a request for traffic information; a receiving unit that receives a response frame in which the traffic information is stored; and a control unit that controls transmission of a frame related to permission of transmission directed to a first wireless communication device that is identified on the basis of the traffic information stored in the received response frame and that is permitted to perform multiple access. A wireless communication device includes: a receiving unit that receives a request frame indicating a request for traffic information; a transmission unit that transmits a response frame in which the traffic information is stored in response to the received request frame; and a control unit that controls transmission of a frame related to the traffic information on the basis of a communication parameter related to multiple access.

Abstract: A wireless communication system includes a wireless communication device that functions as a base station, and one or more wireless communication terminals that communicate with the wireless communication device as slave units, a controller in the wireless communication device sets propriety information indicating whether or not reception of a packet transmitted from the wireless communication terminals is possible during a downlink transmission period when the wireless communication device transmits a packet, and a communication section in the wireless communication device transmits the packet including the propriety information. Furthermore, a controller in the wireless communication terminal controls transmission of the packet to the wireless communication device, during the downlink transmission period when the wireless communication device transmits the packet, according to the propriety information included in the packet, the propriety information indicating whether or not reception of the packet transmitted from the wireless communication terminals is possible.

Abstract: A communication apparatus and a communication method are provided by which an upper network including a plurality of network groups is formed. A base station transmits a first frame requesting communication for estimating a structure of an upper network to another base station and returns a reply of a second frame to a first frame from the other base station. Then, the base station estimates a structure of the upper network and decides a structure attribute of the base station itself in the upper network on the basis of information acquired through the communications. Then, the base station notifies the other base station or a subordinate terminal of a result of the decision of the structure attribute.

Abstract: A communication device and a communication method that transmit and receive wireless packets are provided.
A communication device includes a control unit that determines a subcarrier to be a null tone according to information applied to a packet and a transmission unit that generates a multi-carrier signal in which the determined subcarrier is set as a null tone and wirelessly transmits the signal. Omni-directional transmissions are utilized in a manner to overcome preamble interferences, which is used in combination with synchronizing symbol intervals to eliminate interference from symbol transitions. The enhanced simultaneous transmission protocol allows two APs to transmit simultaneously without interfering with one another.
