Abstract: A communication apparatus performs packet transmission at the time of detecting an interference signal. Each STA records a pair of a measurement result of an RSSI of an OBSS and a BSS Color, and reports, to an AP, BSS Colors that correspond to a maximum value and a minimum value of the RSSI. The AP generates a database or a table by using a STA having a minimum or maximum RSSI for each of the OBSS's. When a signal of an OBSS is detected, the AP selects a STA that has the smallest RSSI of the OBSS or does not have the largest RSSI of the OBSS, and performs SR transmission.

Abstract: A communication device and a communication method that transmit and receive wireless packets are provided.
A communication device includes a control unit that determines a subcarrier to be a null tone according to information applied to a packet and a transmission unit that generates a multi-carrier signal in which the determined subcarrier is set as a null tone and wirelessly transmits the signal. The control unit determines a position of a subcarrier and the number of subcarriers to be a null tone or a position of a subcarrier in correspondence with the information and, in addition, changes a subcarrier to be a null tone according to temporal variation of the information.-

Abstract: To provide a communication apparatus which controls channel access operation under a multi user environment, and a communication method.
Channel access operation of each STA after an MU mode is finished is controlled through a trigger frame from an AP to prevent collision immediately after the MU mode is finished. Further, the AP sets a smaller CW upon transmission of the trigger frame than a CW of an STA to preferentially transmit the trigger frame and give priority to communication in the MU mode over communication in an SU mode. Further, by the CW of each STA upon switching of the mode being not reset, a transmission waiting period after the MU mode is finished is shortened.
