A process is described for the hydrogenation of olefinic streams containing sulfurated compounds, obtained starting from hydrocarbon cuts containing isobutene (by means of selective dimerization), characterized by fractionating said streams in one or more distillation columns and hydrogenating separately the two fractions obtained.
