    Abstract: There is provided an automated analysis device capable of transferring a rack to a predetermined instrument extraction position efficiently and rapidly, the rack being loaded with instruments to be used for an analysis process. An automated analysis device of the invention includes a conveyance unit to raise and lower a plurality of racks in a vertically stacked state to convey the racks into an analyte processing space, the racks being loaded with instruments to be used for analyte processing. The conveyance unit includes a movement mechanism to move an uppermost rack from a rack standby position to an extraction position with guidance of a protrusion and a recess while maintaining a state of slidable protrusion and recess engagement between the uppermost rack and a rack below the uppermost rack.

    Abstract: There is provided an automated analysis device capable of transferring a reagent for reagent dispensing efficiently and rapidly. An automated analysis device of the invention includes a reagent transfer unit to transfer a reagent suction nozzle between a reaction unit and a reagent supply unit. In a region of an analyte processing space where a tip supply unit, the reagent supply unit, a tip disposal unit, and the reaction unit are lined up along a straight line, the reagent transfer unit forms a uniaxial transfer line where the reagent suction nozzle is moved only in a uniaxial direction along the straight line for a reagent transfer.

    Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for suppressing non-specific reactions using a highly versatile method without affecting specific reactions. The present invention provides a detection method for detecting a target antigen in a sample using a specific antibody that specifically binds to the antigen, the method comprising: a) a step of bringing the sample into contact with a modified antibody; and b) a step of bringing the sample into contact with the specific antibody simultaneously with or after the step a), which is a highly versatile method that can suppress non-specific reactions.
