    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Specifically, techniques and signaling for configuring and utilizing parameters for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-to-everything (U2X) communications are described, including registration procedures for U2X communications. A user equipment (UE), such as a UAV, may receive control signaling indicating a UE policy configuration including a set of radio parameters usable by the UE to perform sidelink communications to support one or more UAV services. The UE may receive an altitude limitation parameter associated with the one or more UAV services via the control signaling, additional control signaling, or both. The UE may then perform a sidelink message associated with the one or more UAV services in accordance with the UE policy configuration and altitude limitation parameter.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. An aerial vehicle (a transmitting device) may transmit control information that indicates a message type of a message. The message type may be one of multiple aerial vehicle broadcast message types, such as an aerial vehicle-to-aerial vehicle message type or an aerial vehicle-to-terrestrial user equipment (UE) message type. The transmitting device may transmit the message to a receiving device (e.g., another aerial vehicle or a terrestrial UE) in accordance with the indicated message type. For example, the transmitting device may transmit an aerial vehicle-to-aerial vehicle message to another nearby aerial vehicle or an aerial vehicle-to-terrestrial UE message to a terrestrial UE. As such, a receiving device may be aware of a message type and determine whether to decode the message accordingly.

    Abstract: One aspect relates to initiating, by a device, a connection with an application server associated with one or more application services. A gateway derives an uplink network token and/or a downlink network token. The tokens are provisioned to the device and/or an application server over the user-plane. The tokens are included with uplink and/or downlink packets, respectively. Another aspect relates to receiving a data packet at a gateway. The gateway determines a requirement for a network token from the packet. The gateway derives the network token based on a device subscription profile maintained by a network. The network token may be sent with the packet to a destination address associated with the packet. A packet including a network token may be received at a gateway. The gateway may verify the network token and send the data packet to an application server or a device if the verifying is successful.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Generally, a network may establish a multiple access (MA) packet data unit (PDU) session for a local area data network (LADN) and may reconfigure a registration area to map to a LADN service area. A network may establish an MA PDU session for an LADN, but may steer traffic to only one of two access links. A network may reject a request for an MA PDU if it is for an LADN. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to trigger a UE registration update or other location information if it leaves an LADN service area while in an idle mode with one access network and a connected mode with the other access network. A UE may request LADN registration, and the network may provide the UE with an indication that MA PDU sessions for the LADN are not supported.
