摘要: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a receiving device may receive, from a transmitting device that is configured to perform network coding on information from an originating device, one or more transport blocks (TBs) including the information and associated with an erasure coding scheme. The receiving device may perform decoding using the erasure coding scheme and at least one TB, of the one or more TBs. The at least one TB is selected using one or more time conditions, one or more group conditions, one or more settings indicated by the transmitting device, or a combination thereof. 摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may determine its position by receiving locations from one or more other UEs capable of network-based positioning. For example, a second UE may determine its location using network-based positioning and may transmit its location information to the first UE. The first UE may determine its location based on the received location information (e.g., by calculating a weighted average of different locations, by setting its location to be the same as the received location). In some cases, the first UE may receive location information from other UEs during or after a discovery process with other UEs. In some other cases, the first UE may receive messages (e.g., periodic safety messages) from the other UEs, and the messages may each include location information of the respective other UEs.

摘要: A user equipment (UE) establishes a unicast link with a second UE, including establishing an authentication and security establishment procedure between the first UE and the second UE. The UE establishes a security context with the second UE during the authentication and security establishment procedure. The UE starts a timer based on a status of the unicast link. The UE reestablishes the unicast link with the second UE using the security context when the unicast link is reestablished prior to expiration of the timer.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for sidelink groupcast communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may transmit a beam training request to a base station to determine beams for use with other UEs in a sidelink groupcast communications group. The base station may receive the beam training request, identify wireless resources that a group of UEs may use to perform beam training, and may transmit a beam training grant to each UE of the group of UEs. The UE may transmit a number of training beams using the wireless resources provided in the beam training grant, and the other UEs may measure received signals on the wireless resources to identify one or more beams. Each UE may provide a beam training report to the base station. The base station, based on the beam training reports, may determine beams and resources for use in the groupcast sidelink communications.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a co-channel configuration. The co-channel configuration may indicate a set of sidelink parameters for a co-channel operation associated with dynamically utilizing sidelink radio frequency resources allocated for a first radio access technology and sidelink radio frequency resources allocated for a second radio access technology. The UE may transmit, based on the received co-channel configuration, an indication of a set of channel availability parameter values indicating an amount of available sidelink radio frequency resources associated with the first radio access technology, the second radio access technology, or both. Subsequently, the UE may receive a grant scheduling a set of sidelink resources for the wireless communication associated with the second radio access technology based on the transmitted indication of the set of channel availability parameter values for the co-channel operation.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which two or more UEs of a wireless communications system may establish a sidelink connection. A first UE that is initiating sidelink communications may evaluate whether the sidelink connection can support a quality of service (QoS) for a data flow prior to admitting the data flow. The first UE may evaluate a link quality with one or more other UEs that are to use the data flow on the sidelink connection, evaluate system congestion of time/frequency resources that are available for the sidelink connection, or any combinations thereof, and admit the data flow based on the evaluation. A link quality of the sidelink connection may be determined based on a type of communication associated with the data flow, such as unicast communications with one other UE, multicast communications with multiple other UEs, or broadcast transmissions to multiple UEs.
