    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support paging for network-based user equipment (UE)-to-UE communication. In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication performed at a network entity includes identifying a UE-to-UE paging request condition originating at a source UE. The method also includes identifying one or more other network entities within a paging area relative to a location of the source UE. The method further includes transmitting, to the one or more other network entities, one or more paging messages in accordance with the UE-to-UE paging request condition. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: A first UE and a second UE may exchange information relating to one or more machine learning data services. The one or more machine learning data services may be provided by the second UE. The first UE and the second UE may pair with each other for the one or more machine learning data services. The second UE may perform machine learning inference using at least one machine learning inference model, and may transmit the inference result (e.g., a link quality prediction) associated with a link between a network node and the first UE to the network node. The network node may switch (the direction of) the network node beam if the inference result predicts that the degree of link quality degradation associated with a current network node beam is going to be greater than a prespecified threshold.

    Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for prioritization of sidelink-based positioning transmissions. A first UE may receive a request to initiate a sidelink positioning session with a second UE for which a sidelink positioning transmission will overlap in a time domain with communication between the first UE and a base station over a Uu access link. The first UE may transmit the sidelink positioning transmission if a first priority level of the sidelink positioning transmission is higher than a second priority level of the communication over the Uu access link. The first UE may adjust transmission of the sidelink positioning transmission if the first priority level of the sidelink positioning transmission is not higher than the second priority level of the communication over the Uu access link.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may determine its position by receiving locations from one or more other UEs capable of network-based positioning. For example, a second UE may determine its location using network-based positioning and may transmit its location information to the first UE. The first UE may determine its location based on the received location information (e.g., by calculating a weighted average of different locations, by setting its location to be the same as the received location). In some cases, the first UE may receive location information from other UEs during or after a discovery process with other UEs. In some other cases, the first UE may receive messages (e.g., periodic safety messages) from the other UEs, and the messages may each include location information of the respective other UEs.
