Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A multicast architecture may support flexible change between unicast and multicast operations and may support additional traffic types (e.g., Internet Protocol and Ethernet traffic). For example, the multicast architecture may include transmitting data over a shared multicast radio bearer (MRB) and/or specific data radio bearers (DRBs), a multicast user plane function (UPF) for supplying the multicast data to a base station, multicast data from different radio access networks (RANs), protecting the multicast data through creating a group key, ciphering the multicast data sent on the MRB using the group key, and transitioning the multicast data from a source RAN to a target RAN.

Abstract: Various embodiments disclose a method and an apparatus for controlling a network for low latency and low power data communication in a tethered AR system. An electronic device according to various embodiments may include a wireless communication circuit; and a processor operatively connected to the wireless communication circuit, wherein the processor is configured to identify a first Service Period (SP), based on a data amount of a predetermined data path when an Augmented Reality (AR) service with an external device is initiated, identify a transmission interval on the basis of a frame rate of the external device, identify whether a network connected to the electronic device satisfies a predetermined transmission requirement, based on at least the first SP and the transmission interval, determine connection information related to a connection with the eternal device on the basis of a network which satisfies the transmission requirement, and make the connection with the external device on the basis of the connection information. Various embodiments are possible.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for multiple radio access technology (multi-RAT) access mode operation for a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) are disclosed. A WTRU and a network may enable a multi-RAT access mode of operation based on at least one of WTRU subscription, a service agreement of the WTRU, a roaming status of the WTRU, a selected access point name (APN), an Internet protocol (IP) flow class, a subscriber profile identity for the WTRU, requested quality of service, or a proximity indication indicating proximity to a cell supporting multi-RAT access mode. The WTRU may send a capability indication of support of multi-RAT access to a network, wherein the multi-RAT access mode is enabled based on the capability indication. A partial handover of bearers may be performed. In performing the handover, the target cell is determined based on a priority rule.

Abstract: A computer implemented method performed by a first node in a communications network for use in determining whether a channel between the first node and a target node is in use. The method includes selecting, from a plurality of other nodes that are suitable for making measurements on the channel, a subset of the other nodes from which to obtain channel information in order to determine whether the channel is in use. The selection is performed using a first model trained using a first machine learning process to select the subset of other nodes based on accuracy of the resulting determination of whether the channel is in use. The method then includes sending a message to cause the subset of other nodes to obtain the channel information.

Abstract: A method and device for supporting multi-path (MP) transmission are disclosed. In one embodiment, a remote User Equipment (UE) communicates with a network node via a direct path and an indirect path. The remote UE also connects with a relay UE via sidelink (SL) or PC5 interface to support the indirect path. In addition, the remote UE is configured with direct bearers and indirect bearers by the network node. Furthermore, the remote UE transmits a buffer status report (BSR) and a SL-BSR to the network node over the direct path, wherein the BSR includes data volume of at least one of the direct bearers and the SL-BSR includes data volume of at least one of the indirect bearers.
