    Abstract: A Method and Apparatus for application layer measurement reporting based on segmentation is provided. The method includes receiving a first SRB-ToAddMod IE, establishing a SRB1 based on the first SRB-ToAddMod IE, receiving a second SRB-ToAddMod IE, establishing a SRB4 based on the second SRB-ToAddMod IE, receiving a first RRC message, generating a second RRC message based on the first RRC message, generating a one or more ULDedicatedMessageSegment by segmenting the second RRC message in case that the second RRC message is larger than a specific size and the first RRC message includes a rrc-SegAllowed, transmitting, the one or more ULDedicatedMessageSegment. The one or more ULDedicatedMessageSegment are transmitted via SRB4 in case that the first RRC message is a RRCReconfiguration received via SRB1 and the first RRC message includes a first configuration information.

    Abstract: A method and device for supporting multi-path (MP) transmission are disclosed. In one embodiment, a remote User Equipment (UE) communicates with a network node via a direct path and an indirect path. The remote UE also connects with a relay UE via sidelink (SL) or PC5 interface to support the indirect path. In addition, the remote UE is configured with direct bearers and indirect bearers by the network node. Furthermore, the remote UE transmits a buffer status report (BSR) and a SL-BSR to the network node over the direct path, wherein the BSR includes data volume of at least one of the direct bearers and the SL-BSR includes data volume of at least one of the indirect bearers.

    Abstract: Disclosed is an apparatus comprising means for: detecting an occurrence of a traffic burst event on a flow within a wireless network; responsive to the detection of the occurrence of a traffic burst event, determining whether a traffic burst allowance is available; responsive to determining that the traffic burst allowance is available, scheduling the flow and/or another flow within the wireless network with a traffic burst bit rate at which to transmit data, the traffic burst bit rate being greater than a first, guaranteed bit rate indicated by an assigned quality of service for the flow; and responsive to determining that the traffic burst allowance has been exhausted and/or determining that occurrence of the traffic burst event has stopped, scheduling the flow with the first bit rate.

    Abstract: A bearer processing method and system, and a related apparatus. A GW-U is configured to receive a data packet and match the data packet with a rule, and send bearer processing indication information to a GW-C if a rule matching result of the data packet meets a trigger condition for bearer processing, where the bearer processing indication information is used to trigger the GW-C to perform bearer processing according to quality of service QoS information of a data service corresponding to the data packet. The GW-C is configured to receive the bearer processing indication information from the GW-U, determine, according to the bearer processing indication information, the QoS information of the data service corresponding to the data packet, and perform bearer processing according to the QoS information of the data service corresponding to the data packet.
