摘要: A cooling structure for an inverter (31) controls a motor (6) to drive an automobile. This inverter device (22) includes a power circuit section (28) having an inverter (31) to convert a DC power of a battery (19) to an AC power for the motor (6), and a casing (39) enclosing the power circuit section (28). A fin (41) is provided in an outer surface of the casing (39), a coolant path (42) for the flow of a cooling medium is provided within the casing (39) or in the outer surface thereof, and a pump (43) circulating the cooling medium in the coolant path (42) is disposed in the casing (39). With this structure, the flow resistance for cooling the inverter (31) is reduced to allow the pump (43) to be downsized and a proper cooling can be accomplished to the amount of heat by the inverter (31).

摘要: A gear shaft of an output gear in a speed reducer B of an in-wheel motor driving device is supported at its two ends with respect to a housing. The double-end supported gear shaft of the output gear is formed with a spline hole. The spline hole provides spline-connection with an output shaft of the wheel hub C. This structure makes the gear shaft less likely to come out of alignment even if the output gear comes under a bending moment. Therefore, even if an external force such as a lateral force from a tire causes the output shaft of the wheel hub C to develop a shaft deflection, the deformation/displacement is absorbed by a gap between splines which connect the output shaft of the wheel hub C and the output gear with each other.

摘要: A vehicle drive device uses a parallel shaft gear reducer (30) in which a gear is composed of helical gear, as a speed reducer part (B) that decelerates and outputs a rotation of an electric motor part (A). In the vehicle drive device, of meshing parts of the gears formed in the speed reducer part (B), two gears form a meshing part in which the amount of misalignment that occurs between the tooth surfaces of the two gears meshing with each other is different during driving and during coasting of a vehicle. A first tooth surface (S1) meshing with a mating tooth surface during driving is subjected to tooth surface modification, and a second tooth surface (S2) meshing with a mating tooth surface during coasting is subjected to tooth surface modification of an amount different from an amount of the tooth surface modification to the first tooth surface (S1).
